I think that one of Scream Machine's best features, which sets it apart from other games, is the ability to build several coasters in one park, and ironically, it is hardly ever used.

So here is my park: Perplexity Peak!

Featuring 4 thrill machines for everyone to enjoy.

I actually built it several years ago but I always thought of making it bigger. eventually I decided to upload what I already have.

Fuego Mine Train

--------------------

This was a challenge to myself - build a mine train coaster that is only a single downhill slope, no uphill sections, and still make it fun and interesting.

Delirium

---------

A B&M standup, the park's main thrill machine. starts off very state-of-the-art and then goes a little crazy.

Panic!

------

A family wild mouse coaster for all visitors to enjoy.

Blue Thunder

-------------

This was another challenge for myself - build a full circuit corksrcew coaster with an interesting twist.

Please tell me what you think!

This looks really cool! How hard is SM to use compared to NL? What's the difference between the 2 programs?

Posted

^^Well, NL is alot more realistic. the grpahics are better, sounds are beter, and SM doesn't tell you hwo much Gs the coaster pulls, it just shows a color meter(for example, killer Gs are in red)

On the other hand, SM has a much much wider variety of coasters you can build(including types like 4D and suspended), and a much friendlier transition between editor and the program in which you ride the rides. in SM theyre both the same program.

Also, in SM you can build several coasters in one park, and have different kinds of stations.

the editor also has a couple other benefits that the NL editor doesn't have, such as beging able to decide at what point in a segemnt does the banking start/end. Or being able to lock a track point in it's place so you can change the length of the little axis thingies without changing the angle the track is pointing in and abunch of other stuf fNL doesn't have.

Basically I think both games are equally good.

EDIT - oh and I forgot to mention, you can make different coasters be syncornized(so you can race them), and you cna put music on rides

WOW! Your park was amazing! I tried Scream Machines but I never could build anything. They all had rough spots, but all your coasters were really smooth and realistic! I love the Corkscrew coaster! I did not expect to leave the station the way we did! Great job!

theres a smooth button in SM, too. its on the left side of the screen. theres even a couple more buttons such as linear, which NL doesnt hazve(though im not surfe what it does)

and my coasters arent that smooth compared to what other people make

where you set how banked the track is

under "bank start" and "bank end"

you have an option between smooth, linear, and cont.(which is what you want, assuming you mean NL's cont. roll button)

I can make exceptionally smooth coasters on SM except I dont have the game anymore , due to i moved from a PC to a MAC.

Oh yea, did you know you can put your music in the game and sync it to the coaster?!

oh, i dont know I probly meant to click the shock smiley. Oh well, oh yea, I like how the game has tons of different train designs ex[ if you click on the B&M track; it lists all the different types of trains that you can used, such as the ones used for "Titan" and "Goliath"] I dont know who designs them.
