^Agreed. I have rid my track of all red g's in all speeds, but for some tracks, it's just unreasonable...

But anyway, I have updated my track! No red g's, and got rid of a LOT of problems in the loops. The dark red box problem is now resolved as well.

PLEASE comment!

Okay, let me ask you all a question.

Should I add a high speed helix and a barrel roll at the ending right after the corkscrew to increase intensity?

Or should I make it do a few bunny hops?

I need your opinion!!

Wait, if you we can't even have red g's at 25% then I withdraw, 'cause that's just ridiculous. That kind of g-force is negligible. I mean hell, you absorb a ton of g's just from jumping up and landing on the ground but you don't notice because it's a split second.

I'll still upload my track once I finish the supports, but I'm not going to worry about the contest 'cause I really don't care if my g's are 0.9 and then pop red and back so fast at 25% speed that I can barely even make out a number. Even the Typhoon track done by NL has red g's at 25%. Quite a few actually, for a more sustained time than my track.

Thanks though, sorry for the trouble. Lookin' forward to the other entries.

I see what you are saying. I mean yes it is ok for a coaster to flash red G's for a split second if they are around 5-5 1/2, But when the red G's are in excess of 6 G's that is a little un-realistic. I really wish you would not withdraw from the contest, but if you still choose to that is up to you.

WOW! DBru now that you fixed your G's your coaster is amazing!! I love the layout, and I love the way it keeps speed through the ride! The drop out of your mid-course is amazing!! Great job! The only thing I noticed was your still in the red box. Other than that there is nothing wrong with your coaster! Its simply perfect!

See? Still over the red.

^Thank you so much! That made my day! lol

But look at that red box again one more time as close as you possibly can. You will see there is at least a millimeter of space between my track and the red box.

EDIT: Oops! Sorry, I see what your talking about now. I hadn't even noticed that! lol, thanks.

Okay, I've fixed the trackwork for what I hope will be the last time. If you all approve (if the track looks good and qualifies for the competition) I will start on the *dreaded* supports, lol.

Not in the red box! =)

Well, though I still stand by what I said earlier about the g's, I was mostly frustrated because it felt like more of a program glitch than anything. It just didn't make any sense that my g's would be around 1.0 and then jump to about 4.0 for a split second while under 25% speed, and then hop right back to around 1.0. So, I was fairly frustrated and didn't feel like fixing what I felt was a perfectly fine ride. However, I didn't really want to withdrawal, so I went ahead and tried some precise tweaks and finally got the split second red's under control, so yeah, I am back in. Sorry if I came off like a dick. I was just frustrated, more so with the program.

Hey it is fine! I understand trust me I get the same way. I do not mean to be so strict about the G's, but I posted one of my rides on a different website and everyone had a fit because my G's went red for a split second, so every since then I have realized that the split second red G's I thought was nothing would be a big deal in real life. So I am sorry for judging coasters so hard but I just want them to all be as realistic as possible. If you still want to be in the competition your name is still on the list

DBru your coaster is great! But if you notice your coaster still goes over the red box... Look at the red box yes your track does not enter the box, but your train does. Sorry Other than that your coaster was perfect.

Are you serious? lol. Isn't the train going in the red box the same as the station building going out of the blue box?

Honestly I did not care about it, but Tony threw a fit. He was all like "OMG that train is so going above the box." But personally I do not care. As long as no TRACK, and NO SUPPORTS go in or above the box then you are fine!

Oh no, I know that it's not your original rule. I figured it was a universal rule with these things and I just didn't know about it because I'm a noob to NL, so I don't blame you at all for it. But yeah, I got the g's under the control so count me still in for the competition.

One question though, I've heard some contradictory views on the tunnel test. There are a few sections from my track where the tunnel from one section comes into the tunnel of another. However, if I remove the tunnel from either of these sections, then there is no problem. So, given that you created the contest, what's your verdict on this? Does the tunnel test include the tunnels caused from other sections of the track? Thanks for the help.

All my coasters have always been judged with a tunnel test defined as "Anything that enters a segment tunnel other than the support connected to that piece of track causes the segment to fail the test." So basically if anything other than the support going directly to that segment of track enters the tunnel it fails. So I think I am going to have to keep it that way. I am sorry if this causes a conflict with what you have built. I am just going by the way my coasters have always been judged.

DBru... You are very welcome!

Wait, so does my coaster pass the tunnel test?

I've always had trouble with this and the e-stop test. I know what they are, I just don't really understand them...

^ Same here. Supporting a ride sucks. Thats why Tony always helps me!! I suck at it so he is always like... "Ok... place this here... and this here... now do that 15 more times around that turn." He is amazing
