Token Yankee Guy
I'm back from good old Bangor, Maine where I attended my best friends wedding. They had the wedding yesterday but I drove up Friday since it takes me 6hrs to get up there and I wasn't doing a day trip up there. Friday I left the house in the morning and got to my friends, Mike & Melissa's, apartment around 1:30 to find out they aren't home. So I try calling my friend who I was going to stay with the weekend but for some freakish reason, I wasn't getting the ringing tone, even though my cell was getting a signal and I could call other people without a problem. So I hung out with a friend on campus, then I hung out with my ex for a while. After that it was close to 7:30 and I was having no success in getting through to my friends. So I went to the movies to kill time. After the movie they were finally home from work so I went over where I got to meet Melissa's father and step mom who were both really cool. Her dad was in Vietman War so he shared us some stories of his service over there and how the people reacted when he got back to the states. Saturday - Wedding Today was Melissa and Mike's wedding which was going to be held on my college's campus. A small group of people attended (with 30 possible future korean students watching from the windows from the campus center). We had the wedding outside infront of the bell tower since it was a nice day. (BTW, I think I made friends with 10 Korean girls in 5 seconds). After the very non-traditional wedding (you'll see in pictures) we had the reception which wasn't that successful. People still came over but they weren't that active in dancing and such. Later in the day, Melissa, Mike, and I went bowling at Family Fun Lanes on the outskirts of Bangor. I did really well at bowling, we did four rounds and my total scores were 101, 70, 105, and a 154. So that's about it. Today I went home and I got back about 3pm. Now onto the photos, now keep in mind, some of the photos below are two action figures having "fun" with each other. How that happend was I was playing with the leia action figure at the wedding table and I was making her "do something" so that got the rock rolling which then resulted in an avalanche of humoris positions. Anyway, you'll see what I mean (and don't worry, the action figures were wearing clothing) alright, one more Leia picture. And thats it for the report Mike and Melissa cutting the cake Group photo Words can't explain what I had started. Hattuchili
I agree with Wally! Where was your suit, and what were you doing with the StarWars figures? --Sören
Token Yankee Guy
^ haha, the wedding was a non-traditional wedding so anyone could wear what you want. Melissa was the only one that went formal by wearing a very nice wedding dress. As for the star wars figures...well, my bad on that part, but it made the whole table abrupt in laughter. FlyingScooter
looked like a cool wedding. just curious: What music did you have playing at the reception? I went to a wedding recept a few years ago that was come-as-you-are and it was like non-stop B52's.

disneygurlz2s
This reminded me a little of a friend's wedding...there were disposable cameras on the table and my husband made some figures out of coffee stirrers and cherry tomatoes, and then we photographed them doing things.......
