I am very new at No limits and would love to dive into the program and start building, but as with any type of simulator it is just not that easy. I have perused other threads asking questions about how to do certain things, but my search did not turn up an official FAQ thread so I thought it would be a good idea to start one.

First of all this thread was the one that answered most of my questions about making smooth inversions, so I'm linking to it for other NL newbies.

My main question that I have right now is:

Is there any way I can open up multiple windows in the track editor?

I've used 3d compositing programs to add special effects to some of my student videos and I've always found it a great help to open up multiple windows viewing a 3d object from different angles. (usually one depicting the top view, one the front view and one the side view) it helps me immensely when trying to figure out an objects position in 3d space.

Still it would be so much easier to be able to have 3 or 4 different views on the screen at one time.

Oh well. maybe it'll happen in a future version of the program.

I have version 1.60 is that the newest?

Also I'm running on a Mac (and having no problems), but I would like to know

how can I open up the .nlpack track files?
