Neogreeneyez Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Who is anyone of your co-workers makes you really mad??? I work at a hotel and for me it's this one girl who also works at the front desk but leaves about 7pm and goes to the back of the hotel and smokes weed. ON TOP OF ALL THAT!!! she is the general manager's daughter... So it's just a bad situation. NeO"Do what your paid to do damnit"greeneyez
Wes Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Oh god, there's so many. - There's some executive's secretary who sits maybe 15 feet away from me. Whenever she answers the phone, she yells out "Happy whateverdayitis!!!!!" Like today, she'd yell out "Happy Monday!!!!". Retarded. She also has this habit of answering the phone by saying "Wassupwaaaaaaasupppppppppp". She's incredibly loud too. So obnoxious. - The guys in the cubicle next to me talk about nothing but World of Warcraft and Star Wars all day long.
Homer Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Lets just say the person I have to work with when I am volunteering at the hospital hasn't entered the new millennium... he thinks: -Game companies are developing 64-bit consoles. -Suggests I watch the movie 'Wild Wild West' (that POS Will Smith movie from a few years ago). -etc. What do you expect from people past age 45?
Gregory DG Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Can't say I've really ever hated anyone I've worked with... There were certainly people who I worked around that I have avoided. Actually, the worst people to work with are the know-it-all kiss-butts. I usually just sit back and watch when it eventually blows up in their faces.
Meteornotes Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Wes, it sounds like you need an industrial strength taser near your desk. Or a people sized bug zapper to capture the unwary that wander into your cube. Also, when they're discussing Star Wars, just constantly yell out "Ewoks Rule!" In fact, do that during the World Of Warcraft discussions too. Should keep them confused... dt
squirmy_wormy Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 People that tick me off are the people (co-workers) get mad when I am helping customers...I mean are we not supposed to do that? I work with certain people that seem to be annoyed when I tell them I am busy with a customer...I cannot and will not drop what I am doing to run and get them a price check if I am busy helping a customer.
ebl Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 My office mate is always looking over my shoulder to see what I'm doing, eating, looking at online, whatever. He interrupts when I try talking to him and talks forever (his nickel never runs out). He's always complaining about his weight (he's 5'8" like me, but weighs 180 lbs.---30 more than I do), but eats junk constantly (go figure). We do have a lot in common, actually, and have had some nice conversations. He leaves an hour before me and that hour is bliss without having to listen to him. Eric
