coasterdude5 Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Great TR. I loved the pictures! That park seems really great! How were the lines?
coasterbill Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 The lines in the park werent bad, but in the waterpark they got pretty long
Coasters 4 ever Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 What did you think of Hydra? To me it was not very forceful, but I almost fell out!
coasterbill Posted June 6, 2005 Author Posted June 6, 2005 I thought Hydra was very forceful actually. It's more intense than any other ride there IMO (Except Laser obviously). ... I loved it and also the ride only had a few breakdowns and they were all very brief, the longest I waited was 10 minutes and that was for the front, almost all day it was a station wait... just like all the other DP coasters
disneygurlz2s Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 A PARK WITH A WHIP!!!! OMG!!! I didn't think ANYONE had one anymore. I want to go just for that!! Shari "That's one of my favorite rides, ever!" Shoufler
DenDen Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 A PARK WITH A WHIP!!!! OMG!!! I didn't think ANYONE had one anymore. I want to go just for that!! Kennywood has one too.
What Now Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 Dorney, Hershey, Knoebel's, and Kennywood have Whips.
Bill Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 coasterbill meet.... Bill (quack!) Nice pics, but I'm wondering if it's any better than Medusa is SFGA? I sure know it won't beat Nitro! (or Apollo's Chariot for that matter...)
Zoltan_Kodaly Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 ^^^Also, in Calgary there's a "historic village" that has a vintage train, steamboat, ferris wheel, carousel, caterpillar, and yes, a whip. (Though I hope the other whips out there are run at a bit faster speed, it isnt' too exciting a ride!)
ECZenith Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Awesome photos man, thanks for sharing. I'll be checking out Hydra in a couple weeks, I'll drop a video here when I get back.
