StealthFan Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Hey, Next year I am planning on trying to come on one of the trips, hopefully the Europe one, and i was just wondering if someone could help with a few questions. 1)When at the parks does everyone go round in a big group? 2)Are the visits on Peak times or Off-Peak times? 3)Can I pay in sections, so deposit, half, half etc. 4)Is there anything important that I would need to know to come on a trip? Thanks, Craig
ParkTrips Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 At the parks, smaller groups do break up, so it's not all 50 people walking around together, but maybe 10-15 at the most. Also, as far as I know, all the trips so far have been three payments - deposit followed by two major installments. However if you'd like to break them up even more, Elissa will work with you as long as you are paid up to date once the installments are due. As far as anything important, I just have to say hurry up and send in your deposit as soon as the trips are announced because they will fill up quick. Plus, I'm pretty sure you will need a parent to sign a form to allow you to go on the trip
cobra_roll06 Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 I have a question.... I'm planning on going on one of the trips next year and I am guessing they will be announced before november, the month of my 18th birthday. I was wondering will I still need a parent to sign a form even though I will be 18 by the time I go on the trip? Thanks
SharkTums Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Some notes... Europe will be mostly Non-Peak...towards the end it may be getting a bit busier, but we've done the trip around that time several times and it's always been great. I always work with people to make paying as easy and painless as possible. I have some participants that pay in advance for trips when the exchange rate is in their favor, I have some participants that pay me $100 a month for over a year to make sure they have the money by the time the trip comes around, etc. International trips (ie NOT IN THE USA) you will need to be 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian with you. As long as you are 18 by day 1 of the trip, you do not need a parent to sign anything or come with. (Even if you are 17 when you pay all of your money and sign up) The trips are a lot of fun! Everyone always finds a group to hang with (in most cases several) and we're in big groups on the bus, during meals, and ERT...and of course, the hotel bars! Hope this helps! PS - Mainland Europe is looking VERY popular for next year, if you are interested, pay close attention as it will be announced within the next 4 weeks!
Goliath513 Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 Are flights included in the price? How is the US East coast trip possibility looking? When will the first down payment have to be made and how much will the down payment cost?
Wes Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I'm sure all that info will be announced in the next four weeks, as Elissa stated. But no, flights are not included in the prices. You have to buy airfare on your own.
jedimaster1227 Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 I'm watching the Europe trip carefully, but now that there is the 18 year old rule (I will be 17 by the time we go, closer to 18, but not there yet), I have to see if my brother can go and beyond that, if we have enough money to cover the both of us...
thefitness Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 For the US trips, is the 16 year old rule still the same?
SharkTums Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 ^As of now it is. We will see after the Midwest Trip if I change my mind!
thefitness Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 ^All right cool, hopefully you won't have to change your mind!It sucks when just one person can ruin something for everyone.
