Chapter 4

June 3rd, 1940

VIDEO: http://youtube.com/watch?v=V7FjgbBNDXA

"We aren't supposed to be here, but you're an exception."

"This is all that's left of the fairgrounds, these rides haven't been operational in decades."

"What a sight."

"There was a man, he jumped."

"Jumped where?"

"Jumped off."

"They say you can still see him wandering the midway around where he died."

"The dancehall is the only building that is remaining. There was a terrible accident that happened the day it closed."

"What?"

"The earth moved, not only like an earthquake but like some other force. Everyone perished."

"Why... why can't you go in?"

"Pieces are still in there."

"Sir, never, never go in to that building."

"I promise you Samantha, nor for work nor pleasure, I will not step foot into that building."

later that night

"Ah, the sunset, the best part of my day."

"Samantha, why do you speak that way?"

"The hell of a life that I live within the house. I want them gone."

"Them, you know who they are."

"No, I don't..."

"The spirits, the ghosts, they control our lives, everywhere I go she's there."

"Samantha, we can't do this."

"If this is how you want it to be, Samantha, you shall have it."

I like this better than deep valley; kind of reminds me of something by Stephen King. I really like how you're building the story slowly with lots of detail, and introducing all the characters. I'm really exited to see where the story goes though, good job.

Chapter 5

June 14th, 1940

"The house, Mrs. Gills, I believe I know what happened."

"The man who preivously owned the house - he was very sick."

"He was mentally incapable of thinking rationally."

"But he had some sense. I'm getting told by the woman... she's saying he locked her from the outside..."

"She says he put her in a dungeon in the house while she was sleeping..."

"He completely sealed her off from air, food, and water - she died the next day."

"The daughter was told her mother was out of town."

"Mrs. Gills, she's still in the house... do you have a saw I could use?"

"Sure."

"Are you ready for this?"

"I think so."

Wow, psycho husband sealed wife in a dungeon in the basement with nothing to sustain her life. This is getting great, perfectly creepy. This si better than B-movie marathons on Chiller and SciFi. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Chapter 6

June 14th, 1940

"Samantha, this house is now a crime scene."

"Why did we have to move here?"

"You need to talk to your husband about this and what to do next."

"I can't. Not now. Let's walk down the midway."

"Why did I have to pick this house?"

"You didn't know."

"He will never have my Samantha. But she asked for this."

"Thomas and Maria, meet me for a swim..."

[To self] "I'm sorry, kids."

"Father!! What are you doing???"

"Help us!!"

"This is the only way your mother will see."

Silence.

"The job is done."

-----------------------

Tomorrow, three people will die. Tomorrow, the end will be near. Tomorrow, questions will arise. Tomorrow, you will see a piece of the puzzle fit. Tomorrow, you will see the final chapter of The Stranahan Fairgrounds before the epilogue.

Are you ready? Can you handle the fear? Will the "shocking-jump-out-of-your-chair-scream-out-loud" moment come in tomorrow's video? Tomorrow's video might very well mark the end, but the story of The Stranahan Fairgrounds will formally conclude during the '50s. What will happen during that gap? How many more lives will the deadliest house in the U.S. take?

Chapter 7

June 14th, 1940

VIDEO: http://youtube.com/watch?v=fQokUgVosDE

Everything stands still...

"Samantha, I have to go in the dance hall."

"No! It will be your demise!"

"Please don't do this to me!"

"It's the only way."

She runs from the dance hall crying...

"Thomas? Maria? Mark?"

She discovers the bodies. She collapses on the pier.

"I must confront the spirit."

He opens the door, and walks in.

"The root of the tragedy that has been the end of this family is in this building."

Bang.... Bang. The earth seems to stand still.

She discovers both of them on the floor of the old dance hall dead. She runs to the only place she knows - the police station.

... And we all know what happens after that.

The end.

OK... I really didn't like that... That was actually quite scary :\

Great job! Loved the music, pictures, text, EVERYTHING!

That was scarier than some of the new movies I've seen...

Ice 'shame my speakers aren't that loud' Dragon

*edit* I'm having to watch South Park and Family Guy to calm myself... :\

Epilogue

October 31st, 1951

VIDEO: http://www.coaster101.com/gamesector/TSFepi1.zip

"I stand here on this wretched beach..."

"My name is Cynthia Maxwell. I used to live here."

"I was young when it got bad."

"My father committed suicide after he locked my mother in a panic room."

"He jumped off of the abandoned ferris wheel behind our house. I believe he deserved it."

"I was already in college when he killed himself. But it was only 11 years ago when I was told what had happened to my mother."

"The family that moved in after us got the worst of it. The wife got caught up in an affair with a local 'ghost hunter'... The father found out and pulled a 'Madea' and drowned the kids..."

"As the mother discovered the kids, the jealous husband went into the abandoned and shot Mr. Heathwood, the ghost hunter, before pulling the trigger on himself."

"There are always stories that circulate... some say that the house was haunted from the original owners whom also committed suicide."

"I don't know, nor do I care. The house was leveled two years ago along with what was left of the fairgrounds."

"I believe my father's spirit still roams this property... but it really boils down to whether you believe in ghosts or not."

"I do."

"Even if you don't, you have to be a realist, there was something very different/wrong with the Stranahan fairgrounds... but we will never know exactly what."

"Rest in peace, Mother."

Man, thanks again for another wonderful horror story for Halloween. The next one sounds very interesting, "Hotel Hell." It's got a ring to it. Once again I applaud you for your masterful work with RCT3.
