laqueefa Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Get one friend in per day, to any park, for only 9.99?! (till the end of July) Did any one else catch this on the main site? I hadn't received any notification via email... Anyone else think this will help next years season pass sales? or do you think it will hurt the quarterly results? Will this motivate you to visit a new park you haven't been to yet? I may be able to coax a friend into splitting the gas money and finally hitting Magic Mtn. for the first time. DISCUSS!!!
Airtime&Gravity Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Awesome promotion, but hopefully parks aren't massively overcrowded like they are on bring a friend for free SF is probably expecting people to stay in the park, but I'm guessing people will still leave to eat or take a break.
pianojohn Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Here is the link in case anyone is interested: http://www.sixflags.com/national/tickets/seasonloyalty.aspx Sounds like a deal to me!! Just need to find time between now and July 31st to hit SFOG!
Real Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 With more people in the park you cant really lose money. What does the cost of a ticket really cover? When you add in how much money a single person pays for all the other things...food, drink, games and parking - what else is being covered? Food and drink alone are so marked up its insane. I refuse to pay for bottled pop at the parks. I can get a 20oz Mt Dew at the grocery store for 99 cents. Thats marked up. So what is 3.00??!@# But, they can get it - so its understandable from that standpoint. But really, the more people they bring in, the more money thats spent doing other things. Plus, alot of people have the mentality that if you save money in one area, you spend it in another. So if you save 30 bucks on admission, thats 30 bucks towards more food or games.
