Josemi Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Hey hey hey, guys! Isn't it too late, right? I wanna say you I work at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid as ride operator (OK, OK, as ASSISTANT ride operator, actually ). I hope see you next Sunday. If you can read this in time, let you know I probably will at 'Telesaurio' ride (but only probably) until 3.20 p.m. In any case, my name is Josemi. You'll be able to recognise me easily: I have a little precious hair tail. Welcome to our funny little country!

coasters 4 me Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I am heading to Spain tomorrow morning. Dang....I have to wake up at 2am. Grrr.... Anyways, I will be there for 2 weeks. I am heading to Alicante, or somewhere near. And we will be close to Terra Mitica. The bad thing is that I am going with my friends family. So, I cant really say what I want to do. But anyway, I am hoping we will be going to Terra Mitica on the same day as you guys are going. If you guys are about, would I be able to hang around with you for a bit? Just, if you are about, it depends on what my friends family want to do.....
coastermaniac1 Posted June 30, 2007 Posted June 30, 2007 I just got back an hour ago from my Spain trip which included 3 days at Port Aventura and 1 day at Parque Warner and 1 day at Parque Atracciones. Furius Baco was only running 1 train all week with a near 3hour que. A bit of advice sit on the right side of the train because the transitions are very sharp on the left and are a bit painful. The ride is smooth but very intense and gives you a headache and riding Dragon Khan after it is very painful. Dont miss Templo Del Fuego because it is just amazing even though it's in Spainnish. Abismo is great and the restraints dont' get tighter throughout the ride. I thought the park was crap and the Ride-op's are terrible. I have ridden Stampida with it's old trains and it was awesome but now it's horrible. If you think Coaster Express is bad god help you on this. You can even see the riders and trains shaking like mad and just jumping up and down through the whole layout. The Red side is even worse than the Blue. And the bad thing is if you want both credits you have to ride it twice. It's just horrible. And brace yourself for the double up because it's as rough as hell and there is NO airtime anymore. REMEMBER: Stampida - red train - back seat - at night. That'll definetely beat Balder! Anywhere on Stampida now is terrible. I HATE Kumbak.
