Eric_Smith Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 This is my Greatest coaster to date. No Pics now, I will have them up by tommorow. Please tell me what you think.!!! Deja Vu.nltrack My Best.
FeelTheFORCE Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 That was great!!! Very smooth and accurate. Just one thing, Why did the brakes kick in after the loop? That doesn't happen in real life. At least when I rode it, and in all the videos I've seen, it didn't.
Eric_Smith Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 They are to help on the return trip not the first trip. I did not know that they kicked in. I will try and fix it.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 It's simple fix, you didn't change any of the settings, on the brakes, just set the trigger to front car and move it all the way to 'Seg. End' and set the speed limit to 124 so there is no anomaly in the ride's running (trust me I've seen 'em before...) to make the brakes activate, (This also works for creating dummy block brake sections for running rides similar to the way Maverick, TTD or Ka do.) I'll upload the new file with your permission. And also the brakes don't kick in at all on the real ride, they are there so if the train were to valley they can activate them, them stop the train and evacuate everyone.
Thrillrider15 Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Wow Neat job. I tried to make a recreation of Deja Vu twice recently, and failed. I'm impressed by your recreation. Neat job once more!
FeelTheFORCE Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 And also the brakes don't kick in at all on the real ride, they are there so if the train were to valley they can activate them, them stop the train and evacuate everyone. Â Yeah, that's what i had figured, but wasn't sure.
Eric_Smith Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 I'll upload the new file with your permission  You have my permission to do so. You can take full credit for the brakes but I get the rest of the ride.
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted June 18, 2007 Posted June 18, 2007 Alright then, I also changed the deceleration on the second lift from 5 to zero. Why was it like that anyway? deja_vu_306.nltrack Here ya go
Eric_Smith Posted June 18, 2007 Author Posted June 18, 2007 Why was it like that anyway? So I knew that it would not clear the tower.
alex999 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Hey! this coater is very familiar! I wonder Why? Oh yeah! Take a look back at the recreation I made. And then at the one fan boy made. Exactly the same without a station building! Rip off!
Eric_Smith Posted June 19, 2007 Author Posted June 19, 2007 ^No not at all. Your Coasters had something of an influence but I do not post other peoples work.
jamesissoocool Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Hey! this coater is very familiar! I wonder Why? Oh yeah! Take a look back at the recreation I made. And then at the one fan boy made. Exactly the same without a station building! Rip off! thats might just be because the coaster is a recreation of it so its going to look the same
alex999 Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 For those of you who don't believe me, download my track here>http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31098, then get a good look at the support work and track, then open Eric's track. Notice they're exactly the same, except without the station or the cable wheel.
FeelTheFORCE Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 ^ I believe you now, it's EXACTLY the same except for the station, wheel, and 2 supports. It's in the same exact position on the map and everything. Eric Smith is a fraud. Â EDIT: Also, in alex's version that he posted, the brakes kick in just like Eric's did when he posted it. That proves it, alex made this coaster.
Eric_Smith Posted June 19, 2007 Author Posted June 19, 2007 If all of this is true then it is his coaster, But I assure all of you that the first coaster I built was Deja Vu. I must have saved over mine. If this is true I am sorry for all of this. Also I did not delete anything.
coasterJunkie94 Posted July 1, 2007 Posted July 1, 2007 Plagirism!! Thats all good in da hood! now worrys mate!
