Marineland Canada Expansion

Has anyone heard anything more about the Aqauarium expasnion going on at the park.

I drive by the park almost everyday and theirs absolutely nothing being built beside the station for the Topple Tower thats not even on site yet.

Well...since it is Marineland, I wouldn't expect the aquarium addition until at least 2020 or so.

 

Also as a side bet, what will happen first? The topple tower being built or the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series?

The rides station and the foundation are already built their just waiting for the ride to arrive.

I've heard plenty of things but like mightypotato said they wont be completed till 2020.

You SERIOUSLY thought they would finish this on time? Dragon Mountain isn't even done yet and the topple tower hasn't even arrived on site! It was announced a LONG time ago.

 

BTW, Dragon Mountain opened like 20 years ago.

I will try to swing by the park tomorrow and see if I can see anything and maybe take a couple of pictures.

I drove by the park today to see what is going on and to my surprise the new Topple Tower is now standing. It's not fully built yet but it is their. Also the new Aquarium is still just a flat piece of dirt. I have pictures but my computer won't let me upload them.

There was supposed to be a scale replica of Niagara Falls which the train coasts behind.

 

It just ended up as a giant ugly mess of steel beams.

There was a mechanic from Marineland taking measurements of the Little Dipper's breaks. He is in the process of restoring one. I should of asked him about it.
