coasterjunkie91350 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Hey all this will be my first official trip report here well i was sitting around the house bored out of my mind lol so i got my bike out and went for a ride. Just so you all know the city is slowly making it easier for bike riders to go to sfmm. I got to the park at 12:45 and the park was really dead as in hardly anyone there first credit was good old revolution 2nd row it was a walk on i know you all think it is a killer on the neck and ears but if you sit up straight you should be ok. Next up was tatsu again another 2nd row ride a 25 min wait they had station 1 closed off for ert or something i"m not sure yet. i did riddler 2nd row single rider line which was a 5min wait it was alot smoother today i guess they sandblasted the bumps out or added fresh wheels all and all a great ride. I headed over to deja vu mind you it had broken down when i got there i headed up the single rider line and they had just started getting it going again and as luck would have it i got the front row wingman seat i barely had time to secure my glasses but it ran really fast and it was alot smoother . Next on my list was my baby goliath this is my ride i rode it 58 times on its media day and i stll love it they only ran one train but they made up for it with fast loading times i can never get enough of this beast but its always givin me the ride of my life. I headed home the long way past the town center and hit the bike paths all the way home about a hr ride and my feet are still killing me lol next time i take the bike ill remember my gel pads lol. To be honest i love going on days like this multiple rides on the popular coasters and seeing old friends who still work there I hope to post more trips over the summer please give me your opinion on my first one "thanks and see you at the park"
thrillrideseeker Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 IMO... This TR was kind of blah. I mean there were NO PHOTOS, and it seemed really short. Next time try going into a little more detail. For example talk about things like where you sat on each ride, about what times you got on and off the rides... things like that. I think for this being your first TR you should read other TR's on this site and figure out what else yours is missing. I hope you had fun! I look forward to your next improved TR! ~Matthew

arrowfanman Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Simply wondering...where does one go about locking up a bike at SFMM? -Jahan
coasterjunkie91350 Posted April 27, 2007 Author Posted April 27, 2007 There is a bike rack outside the hand stamp exit i used it alot when I was working there.
Janster Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I thought only dutch took the bike for distances like that (an hour by bicycle). Foreign people ofter declare me nuts when I tell them I go by bike to my parents, which is 20 miles from where I live. I'd die for a park like SFMM, with so many coasters, so close to home! Walibi World is the closest to where i live, 80 miles. And yesterday I went to Efteling, which was a 4 1/2 hour journey by train and bus from my home.
coasterjunkie91350 Posted April 27, 2007 Author Posted April 27, 2007 Its only 15 mins by car and 45 mins by bus from my house in fact the route that goes up my street goes straight to the park i took the bike cause its cheaper and it was such a nice day outside it takes a hr cause the bike path i take is such a long one
coasterjunkie91350 Posted April 28, 2007 Author Posted April 28, 2007 Well i guess next is a full trip on may 7th Which is my birthday btw anyone want to join me? cause i really hate going alone if any of you local members want to tag along it would make my day there even better.
