asr
It's the dive loop piece from Wild! with a straight track piece and and On Ride Photo cameras, then another dive loop piece. Or, if you are talking about the overbank into the MCBR, that is just a normal overbanked turn piece.
Steffen_Dk
I like the coaster, but I think it should have another colour, and the vertical tube looks a bit too big to be there. I'm NOT talking about the tube just before the station, cause it looks like a nice effect. Â But overall great coaster - the layout looks cool

How would you feel if I changed to a bridge type structure, or elevated railway structure?  EDIT: Also, does anyone know where I can find some good custom scenary path lights for the retro area? I've looked all over the Atari fourms, and I can't find anything fitting.
Steffen_Dk
Sry. I meant the horizontal But yeah. I was talking about the MCBR tunnel..
coasterfreak101
Woah, lovin' the floorless layout! The inverted horseshoe thinga-majigy looks like it'd give some great hangtime, how much do the three trains* slow down during that inversion? Â *I actually went through the trouble of copy-pasting the EXTREMELY small print at the bottom of your post just to figure out what it said. I was wondering about that, too... I was wondering about that, too...  The train goes kinda slow through the first four inversions (but the vertical loop less so), definatly slow enough for some hangtime. Thanks to the MCBR being set to not slow the trains down at all though, it flys through the corkscrews.  UPDATE: Here is a teaser for the recent construction at the park   Could the filename provide a hint to the mystery? asr
Sorry for the double post, but I had a pretty major update that would have gone completly unnoticed if I had just edited my previous post, and I didn't find any rules against double posting if you have an update. Â Anyway, just posting this because I wanted to get some stuff done today before I leave for Cedar Point (leaving my house at around 2:45 AM tomorrow to get there, I hope to have a TR for that up monday or tuesday), and ended up making major progress, so I decided to update. Â Â Overview of the newly updated entrance midway. Â Â The new midway, looking towards the parking lot from Fear Factor's exit. Â Â Screamliner zooming around the turn just before the second launch. Â Â Looking up at the newest ride, a B&M Dive Machine. Â Â It lacks inversions, but features a unique layout with two vertical drops, two underground tunnels, several crossovers, and a couple suprises. Â Â The second of the rides two lift hills. Â Â The first lift and second vertical drop. Â Â So that's where Maverick's coal elevator went... Â Â On ride shot of the first drop, which is inside the ride's queue house. Â Â The station and entrance, the ride still has no name, so I am taking suggestions. Â Â Astro, a Chance Inverter. Â Â To end the update, here is a before and after. This shot is from April 16th. Â Â And this one from today, May 11th.
chmilo24
I think you sould name it Mystery Mine.
coastercrazed49
Great Park. The Dive Machine looks awesome! Â Â You should name it Miners Nightmare.
Reon
WOW! That verticle drop through the spiraling queu is a great visual, both on and off ride....As for names, make the area some sort of mysterious minetown, and call it Desperado Mine.

asr
I haven't been particularly motivated in the pasy few days, but I didn't want the park to just die, so I worked on it some more today. I added custom supports for the dive machine (which is still unnamed, but I am leaning toward the name "Quicksilver, because I don't eally want anything too mining related because it makes the coaster seem like mine train) and Great White. I also worked on theming and landscaping, and started working on live entertainment. Â Â Supports on the lift hill and drop, notice the accurate bracing at the top of the lift. Â Â Action shot. Â Â Same shot, looking across a maintnence bridge. Â Â Theming bit. There is no signage yet though. Â Â Another shot of the big rock thing. Â Â Inside the big rock thing. Â Â Inside Great White's station. Â Â This one's for you, Derek. Â Â THRU TEH TREES!!!1111!!!! Â Â Bench: The Ride and Cedar Fair: The Ride. Did you know that there is actually a stoey behind why CF parks have so many trash cans? It's because CF did a study to find out excatly the distance between garbage cans that would convince people to throw out garbage. Thus, no garbage on the ground, thus no one wanting to look wierd by throwing garbage on the ground. Simple but brilliant. Â Â Another flat ride that didn't get covered, an Octopus named... Octopus. Â Â A quieter area. Notice the giant trees made using MyGirlPepper's method. Â Â X Rail's brake run tunnel had to be shortened to accomadate a transfer track and storage shed. Also note the added color. Â Â Supports on the dive machine. Also, beware! coaster geek shot in 3, 2, 1... Â Â Now! Â Â Hawaiian Song & Dance Hall, a new theater in the Hawaiian Harbor section. Â Â The seating area. It has a maximum capacity of 20 people. Â Â The stage, with the show's performers rehersing. Â ---- Â I leave you with this picture I took of Great White. It is 1280 x 1024 so you can use it as a wallpaper. Â EDIT: Stupid Imageshack re-sized it. The attachment is the full size wallpaper. asr
Sorry for the double post, and also sorry that I haven't posted an update in a while. Anyway, I wanted to post this on memorial day, but I was too lazy. However, that gave me time to get alot more work done on the park. Â Â Alot has changed. You can see most of the additions in this shot. First, let's look at some of the more minor improvements. Â Â A seating area near Screamliner's first turn. Â Â A brand new... Â Â ...mini bowling alley! Â Â X Rail finally had the second tunnel replaced by the train bridge theming I promised ages ago. Â Â X Rail snakes through it's fith inversion. Â Â A new flat ride in Action City, Cyclone. Themed to storms and weather. Co-incidentaly, the same day as I made it, a storm hit, another hit again today, and it's gonna rain through next weekend. Â Â On-ride shot. It's a Chance SeaStar. Â Â This amphithetre was just built in Action City next to Stinger. Â Â The seating area. It can hold 68 people sitting, and probably well over 100 including standing room. Â Â The half-dome that makes up the actual amphithetre. Â Â The park's newest coaster is Desperado, an S&S woodie. Â Â The ride winds around trees and flys right by Quicksilver (the dive machine). Â Â The ride is visable throughout the park. After this bunny hill it enters a twisting section. Â Â The twisting section is mainly back and forth 45 degree turns. At the speed you take it, I could imagine that 1, this would be the roughest part of the ride, and 2, it would feel like a trick track from hell. Â Â Bunny hop and even more relentless twists. Â Â Maybe they don't look like much, but the train FLYS over these final bunny hops. If you've rode Magnum at CP or S:ROS at SFNE, I would say it goes over the bunny hops faster then those two rides do. Â Â Another shot of the bunny hops. Â Â The entrance is themed to an old west fort. Eventually there will be billboards here. Â Â While waiting in line, you will be entertained by anamatronics caught up in a shoot-out in the desert. Â Â The station. Notice the ride op booth in the tower. Â Â The ride is even more of a beast at night, and although it doesn't even break 50 miles per hour, it keeps it's speed until the end. wallpapers.zip And here is a few shots that 800x600 just couldn't do justice. Use em' as your wallpaper if you want.
coasterdude5
Your park is really great. The stations at your park really caught my eye for some reason. coasterdude5
Whoa, thanks. Â Yeah, back when I had dial-up, it probably would've taken 30 minutes to load this page. But hey, who uses dial-up anymore?
asr
So yeah, theres an update and stuff. I'm running out of things to put here. Anyway, I did stuff, and now I'm posting about it. But mostly I'm posting since "New un-named park" is now; Â Â So yeah, other then that... Keep reading, and you will see! ...Or just get a few walk-on X-Rail front row nightrides! Ride at night for a real fright... Overview picture. UNACCEPTABLE AMOUNT OF WETNESS!!! I feel sorry for this dude. He has been sitting here since the 1800s... Up the fourth and final lift hill. I hope you arn't afraid of ghosts... Raft heading down into the graveyard. Up into the forboding church on a mountain. Unacceptable amount of wetness! (If you think that IS an acceptable amount of wetness, EMAIL DAN!) Sorry I didn't mention this before, but you DO GET WET on this ride... A skeleton just hangin' out. "Tuuurrrnnn baaacccckkk... While you stiiilllll caaaannnn..." The windows are boarded up. Not a good sign. What your all here for: Ghost Town Flood Rapids, a two minute expedition through a valley, were a town was tragicly flooded in the late 1800s. Blue side POV. Yellow side POV. S&S tower ride, Detonator. Random Flat #2: Rodeo. Random Flat Ride #1: Vortex. On your right is this spooky abandoned mill, but more on that later. Lookings towards Quicksilver. Eventually there will be shops along here. You can see how it winds through the forest in this shot. The car ride, Old Timers. Nice shot of Main Street. X-Rail from the upper floor of Hawaiian Harbor Bar and Grill. Arcade with retro games. Hall of Liberty Gift Shop. One of my favorite views in the park, looking down Main Street towards Action City. Season pass processing, with out of date signage. Yummy stuffs. Skyline shot. Parking lot coaster. Gate into the parking lot. Signs out front. asr
Just a small update this time, because really all I did was work on lighting. Anyway, not much too say, on to the pictures! A beutifull night shot of the dance show in Hawaiian Harbor. Lighting at Action City Amphitheater. Looking down Main Street at night. The entrance lit up. X Rail restrictions sign. X Rail's logo. asr
The actual "X Rail" text, yes. The rest is just text, the font used is called "Digital Dreams" and is available for free online. I get all my logos from cooltext with some editing because I'm a terrible artist.
