CoasterFanatic Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 Well I have seen some others do this and thought it would be funny to expose some people to the Weirton nightlife. Using the "trip report" heading might be a little misleading because we only went a couple of blocks, but I will give it a shot .... Another Saturday night comes to an end as I leave Carmens which is now just a pile of smoldering ash! Till next time .... later. Kuz approves! Once at Carmen's, the girls give this whole Karaoke thing a shot. Amy decided that we should move the party across the street ... so we headed over to Carmens Fireside Inn. After Kuz finished, Skipper and I gave "Brick House" a go! Once we got to Amy's, the karaoke machine started the party. Kuz started it off with a song for all the young lovers. We arrived at Amy's house where we were greeted by Shaun (old roommate)
SharkTums Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 Dude... I don't know how to put this... But this is exactly what I'd expect a night on the town to look like in West Virginia! Elissa "I'm really frightened" Alvey
Meteornotes Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 West Virginia nightlife looks very similar to central Pennsylvania nightlife! More people need to post TRs like this! I would, but my nightlife usually consists of either sleeping, watching TV, and/or yelling at the cat, which really doesn't make for excellent photographic subjects... dt
FlyingScooter Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 Looked like Seville Ohio to me. Did the peeps do 38 differant renditions of Achy-Breaky Heart? if so, It was mid-ohio. Cool pics, Ted.
CoasterFanatic Posted May 16, 2005 Author Posted May 16, 2005 The song selection for us is always the funniest part. This week I did (kuz helped on some): "I'm Broken" - Pantera "Love Shack" - B52s (w/ the ladies) "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" - Darkness "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" - Jet I have also been known to do: Roy Orbison, Billy Joel, Anthrax, Joe Jackson, Beach Boys, Bus Boys, BR5-49, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Lefty Frizzell, Tony Bennett, Rick James, and more!
Hattuchili Posted May 16, 2005 Posted May 16, 2005 Hey Ted, nice pictures. It is great to see a party-photo-TR from other people, and not only my TRs. It looked like a good evening, with your friends in your home town. --Soeren
