Cedar Point TR: May 12th

What a crappy visit! Because of high winds, just about every ride was closed. Dragster, Magnum, Gemini and even my favorite, Paddle Wheel Excursions. MF was down since the day before and didn't run until Friday, as I was just leaving the park. Oh well, I'll be back in June. Got to ride Raptor, and that's what really matters(MY BABY). And I got to see some old friends that I use to work with at the Point. I just got in from the airport. Back home here in beautiful California. Click on the link below to view my picture slide show. I feel like going to Knott's. This was the hand dryer at TGIFriday's on the beach. Thought it was funny.

Oh, and MaXair wasn't running either. When is Cedar Point getting those slot machines?

I really hope it's not like that on Tues. because I'm going up there for my first ride on Top Thrill Dragster! Was Maxair closed because of high winds? Oh well, as long as Disaster Transport is running I'm set for the day! just kidding....

Believe it or not, I was told MaXair was closed for high winds.

I was there that day too. Luckily it was the last of our 3 day trip to the Point. I froze my ass off while waiting for Wicked Twister (which was actually running, high winds be damned!)

 

Stupid cold fronts, even Gemini was down. Midwest weather really is strange. It was almost too hot for shorts and a t-shirt the day before.

 

I thought I was the only person from NorCal there that day. We really have to work on our communication skills.

 

At least I was able to get Xclereator POV in the Disaster Transport bathrooms (wait for the DVD). I'll post some pics tomorrow when I get home.

I bought a freak'n jacket while I was there, it was so freak'n cold. PGA was alot of fun today. Awesome weather and no crowds. Did the entire park in under 3 hours! 8)
