Japanese Love Hotels

So, apparently the Japanese have these shady hotels by the highways designed specifically for having affairs at. They feature everything the conscientious adulterer could want, such as curtains in the parking area to hide your car, smoked glass at the front desk so the help don't see your face, and, of course, karaoke. Some of the rooms are even themed!

So I can go on cheap coaster trips! I don't mind Motel 6. I think they're one of the better cheap hotels. Now Travelodge and Knight's Inn; those places suck.

 

Have you ever noticed how a good 30% of Motel 6's clientele is cheap rich people? I always see BMWs and other expensive cars in the parking lots.

Reminds of the "Shangri La" motel on Route 6 which is conveniently next door to a massage parlor...

I once saw something on the travel channel about a hotel in Japan that is similar, only you rent your room by the hour.

a few weeks ago a program on the dutch television had these "no-sleeping hotels" as an item that picture you posted gotta be one of the better ones :O the one they showed was like a old steel bed in a room where you could barely walk in
