Erik Johnson Posted February 11, 2007 Author Posted February 11, 2007 Screw Florida. It's been around 50 and raining the past few days here. I find it amazing that you live in Florida and you visit the resorts so often, but haven't seen it all yet. That mini golf course is much better than the Fantasia one. Yeah, we have the AP passes that only cover the 4 main parks. We had a good friend get us into the water park for free, so we could not turn down the opportunity.
dandaman Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Joe Blow Snow Co. I will never go to Atlanta in the wintertime. I also remember getting some insane airtime on Downhill Double Dipper... and, frankly, having it while being 6'2" in an enclosed tunnel isn't always the best. Great TR.
pvcoasterguy Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 We loved Blizzard Beach when we went during Spring Break last year. The park handles the crowds very well, and we hardly ever waited in line. The park is incredibly well-themed and the slides are fun and well-designed. All in all, it's just a great waterpark to go to. There was not a single bad thing about it. Thanks for posting pictures of it!
verticalzero Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 This is one of the Water Parks I would love to visit, the theaming is totally wild. The Toboggan Racers looks great fun for most of the morning, racing your mates. The only decent Water park I have been to is "Slide n Splash" in Portugal. There is a Water Park about an hours drive from me in Poole (England) which has lots of slides, 4 of them are outside. http://www.splashdownpoole.co.uk/ Their best one is called "Screamer" as: This ride has the bravest of you returning back down the stairs when the absolute VERTICAL drop is viewed from the top of the Screamer Tower!! If you dare, descend like a bullet, cross your arms, legs and hope.... Strictly for adrenaline junkies! Once you've ridden the screamer - you will be back for more!
BeemerBoy Posted February 12, 2007 Posted February 12, 2007 Great pics, Erik! It's sort of a shame that most guests don't get to experience the water parks due to the sheer amount of other stuff crammed into a WDW vacation. These pics are by far the best promotion for folks to make time for BB on your next visit. And considering this recent report..... LOS ANGELES (Reuters)- Disney also was looking into expanding its water park offerings beyond Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and possibly adding ships to its two-vessel cruise lines, Rasulo said. ...perhaps there's more on the way?
Erik Johnson Posted February 12, 2007 Author Posted February 12, 2007 Oh I forgot to post this picture, I thought it was pretty neat Cool looking lion.
