Hi there, thanks for viewing my topic:

Me and a friend made a roller-coaster lately.

and it was realy great, as usual, i upload it here.

This roller-coaster is rated: average-intense, smooth ride!

and it is indeed a smooth ride! : D

I done Evrything with the track

My friend: cadj68 did all the supports and scenery!

while he fixed supports, his stomach was acting strange,

and i personaly think they suck a bit [i wanna see his look now]

Also, this is a Watery ride and will take some cpu if it reflect.

The real track is stuffed with palm : D

Honestly, i want to ride it for real, It's a GREAT TRACK!!!

No! the G's weren't very good, the layout was boring, it was rough, your transtitions were horrid, and you used Prefabs galore! This needs a lot of work, try again.

Sorry, but it definitely needs some work. It's a nice start, but is poorly executed.

 

Things I found good:

 

- The twister section could be good with better banking and smoother trackwork

- The drop before the loop isn't too bad

 

Things you need to work on:

 

- It isn't banked enough in many parts. There are too many lateral g's.

- The track needs lots of smoothing. There are lots of bumpy parts or jerks that could hurt people very badly.

- The bottoms of each hill needs a bigger, less sudden pull-out. The tiny, sudden pull-outs create too much positive g-force, and make the ride uncomfortable and unrealistic.

- Try to make the track in a way that you don't need multiple lift hills, because they take away from the non-stop fun seen in most coasters.

- The lift hills and brake-runs should be straight, not curved. You can make straight track pieces by clicking a piece and pressing "I".

 

There are a few good ideas with this coaster, but it needs a lot of work before it'll be acceptable. Sorry.

when you build a coaster think as if your designing it in real life

so that means no bend lifts that are ment to be straight and never tiwst your MCBR

if you were at the back you'll slide into the resaint(sp?)

I hope you don't mind, but I liked your coaster, so I thought I'd recreate it for you. Keep in mind, yes, there ARE jerks on this ride, I built it in about a half hour, but I tried to give you a taste of maybe what this ride should be like. The layout is almost exact, but modified for comfort and practicality, I added a couple things here and there too.

 

I tried to keep the classic Arrow theme with the straight drops and such, but this ride is heart lined at an Intamin Hyper level. I used almost all prefab supports as this was more an experiment than anything. Hope you enjoy it!

No problem! I thought the layout was creative and neat, so I remade it. The layout seemed like a classic Arrow design. You did a good job for a beginner! Keep in mind that whatever anybody says that's negative, and doesn't give criticism isn't worth arguing over, just take the ones that offer help into consideration and you'll become great!
