CoasterFanatic Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 ^ You always take the over in the Superbowl. It seems, most of the time, that defenses don't even show up for the game. Examples (Combined score): 2006 - 41 2005 - 45 2004 - 61 2003 - 69 2002 - 37 2001 - 41 2000 - 39 1999 - 53 1998 - 55 ... 1995 - 75 (good lord!)
NoahTheBoa Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 The problem with the bears is consistency. They've been good lately but I don't really trust Rex Grossman, he makes too many mistakes. Rex Grossman can be really good one week and then do terribly the next. But luckily for the bears their defense has been able to give them plenty of opportunities to score. I agree, the colts defense has improved. I have to pick the colts, the bears will have a harder time stopping Peyton Manning than the other QB's they've played against.
okinawaboy11 Posted January 23, 2007 Posted January 23, 2007 Colts 42Bears 20 Oh, hehe I left when the Patriots were winning at one point or when someone told me that the Patriots were winning, I never got to keep up.

I guess since the Super Bowl sites usually have ideal weather conditions, the scoring is higher. This year should be no different. I'm picking the Colts in a close one, only because I finally want to see Peyton get that monkey off his back.
