Grizzly Roars into its 23rd Season this Weekend

 

Paramount’s Kings Dominion’s beastly wooden coaster is scheduled to reopen Saturday, May 7.

 

Doswell, Va.—Paramount’s Kings Dominion is pleased to announce that the Grizzly will open for the 2005 season on Saturday, May 7. After scheduled maintenance this spring, the wooden roller coaster begins its 23rd season this weekend.

 

Added to the park in 1982, the Grizzly is one of Paramount’s Kings Dominion’s four wooden coasters. The Grizzly features a double figure-eight track configuration and a thrilling eight-story drop, all set deep in the forest of Kings Dominion’s Old Virginia section.

 

Paramount’s Kings Dominion is open Saturday, May 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 8 from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. This weekend is the last weekend park guests can purchase a GOLD Season Pass, which includes exclusive benefits and the lowest price of the season.
