Twister II
A few weeks ago I went to Las Vegas to help my Mom move out there and unpack and such. Since the moving people didn't decide to show up for a few more days, this is what we did. Spent most of the day on the strip. That's all, thanks for reading! Okay, another favorite hotel, the fountains were AMAZING! The best penis coaster in Vegas. I popped my Premier cherry also, but this was much better. See this. This is where I waisted my money to go ride 3 boring ass rides at the top. Complete waist of money. Penis penis penis It really wasn't that bad. It gave me a GREAT back adjustment. We finally made it to Ghetto Dome. "Hello, my name is Mr. White Tiger Man. This weird people from this hotel captured me and won't let me free. HELP!" An *spiraly* escalator with BOOBS! "Here we are on the *spiral* escalator ride, the *spiraly* escalator ride..." The best this coaster will probably ever look. "Yo me hommie G'z waz up in da hizouse, check out dem rimzzz" *pop**pop**pop* Here comes the monkey bastards. Time for me to pop my TOGO cherry. "This way to the dragon!". This coaster has major identity crisis. The ugly dragon. This could be like Shrek too, the beautiful princess surrounded by the ugly dragon. Welcome to Shrek hotel and casino. This hotel nicely accomodates any suicide jumpers too. How many hotels can you see? Any hotel that has a sign shaped like a penis is Twister approved. Is that Intamin track I see there!?!? AQUA TRAX! Start the day at Mandalay Bay, probably one of my favorite hotels. The hotel...quite obvious.
Ryan King
Well, I didnt much like this Trip Report - But its mostly all my opinions - I found all the rides on top of the Stratosphere to be very enjoyable. Instead of slamming them, and NOT telling us why! You just said complete waste of money. Why didnt you like them? Instead of slamming them, give us some reasons to back up your claims. I found all the coasters in Vegas to be Semi-Enjoyable. AGAIN, you slam them and no really tell us WHY you chose not to like them. I personally havent rode all the coasters in Vegas, and i wouldve loved to hear some opinions besides "Penis" Captions couldve used a little work, but I did like seeing the pictures. -Ryan
Primogen18
Nice pics. I guess M.E. will always be M.E. Was it really that bad though? I heard Canyon Blaster was suprisingly smooth, I guess being indoors and not "exposed to the elements". Also, why were the rides at the top of the strat boring? They are normal rides mostly I would guess they would be somewhat "enhanced" by the height, especially the space shot. **edit, I just saw your post ryan after I posted, and I agree** cool pictures though. jamesdillaman
^^Must agree, I really liked the rides at the top of the Stratosphere. And I enjoyed Canyon Blaster, too. Why didn't you like the stratosphere rides? -James Dillaman
Calvin
The new Manhattan Express trains look amazing, but I still don't trust it. I remember, a while ago, it used to be the best coaster in Vegas (the Twist and Dive, when smooth, is terrifying)...but now it just kicks your ass. Why yooz hatin' on mah Strat rahdz, fool? No, really, what gives? Big Shot...awesome. Xscream...awesome. Insanity...awesome. Even the High Roller wasn't that bad, if you thought really hard and imagined that the track was way up in the sky on its own.

KKAddict127
Nice PTR. My guess is Speed is the best coaster in Vegas? Or could it be the Dragon at good ol' Peter Piper Pizza? Yeah, I wish I could go over to Vegas, seems like an awesome place. I hope whatever the Stratosphere does to replace High Roller will be something amazing. The Cheat
Call me crazy but I actually enjoyed every ride I went on in vegas except for Inverter. I honestly loved Manhattan Express a lot, same with Canyon Blaster. Its really smooth so your back adjustment comment was probably you trying to be cool by ripping on arrow. It didn't work. Twister II
I just didn't like Stratosphere. Big Shot for me was like nothing, fun, but not really worth doing again. Insanity was just, blah. It didn't excite me at all. X-Scream was the better of the 3. Still, maybe it was because I wasn't in front, but it was not thrilling to me. Canyon Blaster wasn't great for me either. Maybe it was where I was seating, but it was still just rough. Manhattan, well duh. Just see the video. runnerodb83
Speed is the smoothest in town, and is alot of fun. Desparado out at Buffalo Bills is fun...you just have to approach it thinking its a 200 foot tall woodie instead of an arrow hyper...it hasnt aged well
coasterfriendly
kidding about the Strat rides but dude, you forgot Desperado. No trip to Vegas is complete w/o it! I rode it at dusk, pretty kewl. I've ridden Speed at nite before too, really kewl. I've ridden all but ME. I dunno 'bout that one yet. Maybe next time. At nite of course. coasterfriendly
Speed was all that smooth hitting the turns. It's like an Arrow coaster on the direction changes, jerked me some, but other than that yes it WAS smooth. As far as Desperado, well since the lift is on the roof, there's really nothing scary about it once you go over the top. You can't see directly below you, not really, so it wasn't scary for me in that respect. The direction changes well, that's another story, it hits hard & I thought it was gonna come off the track but that's Arrow for you, well all except of course my beloved Loch Ness which is surprisingly smooth & not jerky for an Arrow, so is Canyon Blaster which I liked very much. It's not jerky at all. Is it an Arrow or Vekoma? Does anyone know?

Its arrow...but it might be smoother because... they removed 1 car from each train OR its indoor OR as far as Arrows go, its a relatively new one (1993) Source http://www.rcdb.com/id104.htm
