robbalvey Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Its a free country, people can talk about, what they want to talk about. HA! Have you looked around and see what a mess this country is in? Besides, TPR isn't a country...it's MY WORLD! Mwhahahahaha!!!! --Robb "And if people don't like my world, they are more than welcome to create their own!" Alvey
TheBannedKid Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 What if we just don't like you and your Milk Dud nipples?
Imhotep Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 --Robb "And if people don't like my world, they are more than welcome to create their own!" Alvey LOL amen to that, brotha! Its not easy, especially at the level of content you provide! I tried starting a community for my bands website, but between the boards getting hacked all the time, spam, and not having much time to post content between my real job and band practice/shows, I couldn't keep up with it. At least for bands, MySpace is an easy way out No complaints from my end, except for these god awful forum colors j/k -Imhotep
RCoasterny Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 ^ The streaming video doesn't work on my Mac, either, but I complain not, as it's easy to download and watch the videos. Everything else about this site is great. I am a Mac user, and i DID switch to a mac because I realized the OS was IMO better, but I never complain about stuff for windows, as with the right freeware, my computer seems to handle any pc files just fine. -James "Anyone who's looked at the pricetags knows why there are so many pc's in the world " Dillaman Execpt for the time lapse movie of the Flying Turns construction! I have to use Parallels and WinXP just to watch the movie! It's more of Knoebels using an old, outdated video codec in creating the movie (Indeo Video). Even Real Player and the new Perian Quicktime Component won't play it. Maybe those Mac heads around here knows something I dont..
coasterjunkie91350 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Robb i dont know what this guys deal is he should be happy with what he gets you guys are working your butts off to pay the fees to host this site and out of the blue this guy complains i love wmv its a good onsite format but i will be getting a better pc in the near future to tackle wmv HD
niiicolaaah Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 We have several other Mac users on the board who do not seem to have an issue with the format. I use a Mac, and it works fine for me. I had actually noticed no difference. Keep the videos coming Robb!
exzantia Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Absolutly no idea if this helps anyone but: If one has Flip4Mac installed, open the WMV in Quicktime. File -> Save As -> Self Contained Movie File. This will give you a '.mov' file that iTunes will happily import, I have no idea if it will work on an iPod or not *shrugs*. I don't like WMV files, but then again I don't like a huge ammount of things However I know I do like getting nice vid's from ThemeParkReview, thanks guys.
RCoasterny Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 That won't work if you have the freeware version of Flip4Mac, as well as the non-Quicktime Pro version. I have the QuickTime Pro version, as well as the Flip4Mac Player Pro version, and I can export to iPod from WMV. I prefer this over iSquint which will work, but the resulting file looks worse than the original.
