PCW FREAK Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 I dont have any pictures but A couple of weeks ago I was at La Ronde I went on the Giant Wheel and i saw a whole buch of water slide tubes in an enclosed are Like I said I dont have pictures but If anybody has any please post these. I think this is good its about time La ronde got a water park. I saw them Between Dragon and the monorail station at the back end of the park near Goliath and Adjacent to the Ferris Wheel. Skyscraper Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 I heard that the weather was too cold so the waterpark was not popular. Don't forget that La Ronde is an island in the middle of Saint-Laurent river, it can get pretty cold sometimes ! I wish good luck for a new waterpark, there's already 4-5 waterparks in the Montreal area... maybe water plays structures would be a greater fit for La Ronde. Glad to see there doing SOMETHING... The cold has nothing to do with it, China has similar weather to us and they have much larger and better amusement parks than Canada. Its not like space is an issue, we're the second largest country in the world... And its not like attendance will be a factor either. What about Playland and Galaxyland The only swatzkovf I know in canada i spelled that Wrong I know. Now lets compare that whith the US CP,PKI,CI,PKD,SFMM,BB,SFKK....... So canada Has 5 And USA has what 40 But mabye with Cedar Fair in the picture thungs will get better or at least the quality.
