Hattuchili Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Uhh, I am so sorry, Chris! That sounds really bad. It would be so horrible for me to come home and my stuff would be gone! I hope you can replace the important stuff! --Sören
crispy Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 WOW, hey Soren, and thanks I have to thanks some people, as some of my stuff has been replaced, and a COMPANY is giving a VERY generous price on a replacement microphone It really nice to see the kindess of family, friends, and strangers when things go bad
tngdiablo Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 On one of the last days of my recent road trip (late may to early june this year), we parked the car on Virginia Avenue in Washington DC at around 7 PM. At around 8 PM, we got a call from a friend who had just left asking us if we drove a black Saab with NY plates, "the window is smashed." The right front passenger window had been smashed entirely and taken from the car was a digital camera, digital camcorder, and a wallet. Luckily, they didn't bother taking the GPS, radar detector, iPod, laptop, etc. Granted, it was a stupid mistake on our part for leaving all that stuff in the car, it sucked nevertheless, especially since we were parked right across from the Watergate where Condoleeza Rice lives (you would assume some form of constant security). Ugh, having stuff stolen from you is the worst feeling in the world. Sophomore Year of High School, I had saved enough money to buy a new Dyno Air (Bicycle), I locked it up at the train station while I commuted to school. One day, I came back, and there was no bike. You wouldn't even begin to believe the anger that TORE out of my body (both limbs and mouth). The best part about it was that the MTA police that I tried explaining the situation to, basically mocked me and said, "that sucks." So, crispy, I know the feeling and just hang in there. It's nice to see that you're getting some of your stuff back.
Mystery Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 When we returned from Florida our licence plates were stolen from our car, that sucked. My bike was stolen multiple times, but that just happens here, saddly.

jcgoldcoast Posted September 8, 2006 Posted September 8, 2006 When we were in France a few years ago, our video camera was stolen when we were getting a train from the ski fields near Italy and Swtizerland back to paris by some freeky French dude....We knew he had it, but didnt really wanna open his jacket to find out if he had any other surprises in there with our video camera. Good thing was insurance payed up, and dad put some extra cash in and I got an uberly awsome video camera that is like a billion times better than our old ones have
