Do you know what is the name of the song played at the end of each part of “The Carrousel of Progress”? The one that goes: There is a great big, beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day…

I know it's called "It's a Great Big Beautiful Tommorow".

Try not to get too confused by this one - I know it sounds overly complicated.

 

A lot of people think the name of the song is "Spirit Journey Formation Anniversary," but in reality the name of the song is (wait for it!)

 

"There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow."

When I was in WDW during the 80's, they had another song playing for each scene. This one was called "Now is The Time".

I think they used to have it for download over at www.soundofmagic.com but I guess that site went under.

 

I read somewhere that that song is done by the same composer as "It's a Small World"... much better and doesn't cause nausea! haha

 

Here's some more Carousel trivia,

 

The voice of the guy is actually "Ralphie" from A Christmas Story and throughout the ride he makes a reference to "Schwartz" and the Chinese restaurant they eat dinner at on Christmas is in the background of one of the scenes.
