goleafsgo
it was pretty boring until Troy Glaus (coolest guy ever) doubled in the top of the 9th to put runners on 2nd and 3rd for Young who singled and won the game for the AL...

HAYASHI
It was pretty much boring this year. I didnt want the AL to lose, but i was almost certain they would've. Thanks to the help from Young they were saved.

BeemerBoy
Eh, who really cares about the game anymore, right? It was really all about the best of the "new old style" parks in the league! Â Â Â Â Â Scott "the Pirates may suck, but man what a park" B.
ParkTrips
I have to agree that its my favorite HOK park. Â - Joe, who still liked Wrigley the best
SixFlagsTexas
What a great game! What a clutch hit by Young. Also, Gary Matthews Jr. got a hit in the 7th. My Rangers have made a difference in the recent AL games... Â 03: Hank Blalock's game-winning HR in the 8th 04: Alfonso Soriano wins ASG MVP 05: Mark Teixeira blasts a 2 run home run 06: Michael Young wins ASG MVP with a clutch 2 run triple. Â Go RANGERS! goleafsgo
your lucky the rangers are in an easy division. Â the jays have to have a better record than the yankees or and the tigers or white sox to make the playoffs
SixFlagsTexas
^ You guys are only 5 games out. You have a whole half-season left to take the division. And I'm rooting for you guys, the Jays are my favorite team in the AL East.

trustkill22
Good Call Up there with the MLB being all about its new old parks. I love the look of PNC Stadium. I have been going to Detroit Tigers Games since Comerica Park (I wish I got to goto Tigers Stadium) and I love the whole fact with the nice cut grass and the older retro looking seats. The problem is that I am comparing it to the Skydump in Toronto. Â I didnt really watch the Allstar Game like usual but I love the Home Run Derby. ParkTrips
^ and to think the Sky Dome used to be the lick. Â I agree, it was pretty crappy. Hard to believe its almost 20 years old already..
WalrusMan
The All-Star Games are useless. They're meaningless exhibitions with "meaning" put on them. But you can't have a meaningful game when the best pitchers in the game only pitch 2 innings at a time.
goleafsgo
well it is a pretty meaningful game when it comes ot game 7 of the world series. AL have a huge advantage if it goes to game 7 now because they have a player who can play DH, whereas the national league will just have some guy off the bench... ParkTrips
meh I remember my Marlins pulling of a win with a DH late in the series in one of the most difficult places to play  I think homefield is overrated and its still just an exhibition match.
