TheKlockster Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Like Patriot - I am the first person to ever photograph this roller coaster! This was back before I got my digital camera - so I video taped it then captured stills from the video - so that's why the quality is so poor. Don't believe me? Check out the RCDB link for yourself! stormrider Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 Yeah, but it looks more interesting when it's put together Actually, it's nice to be able to see that a ride will be built at a certain park before it's announced I've never seen the fabrication facility and always thought it was in Switzerland until I saw pictures of Patriots track.
Gnome Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 ^ I think its only the trains that are manufactured in Switzerland, although those could be manufactured here in the US as well.
TheKlockster Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 All B&M track and supports for the US and parts of Asia is fabricated at Clermont Steel Fabricators (formerly Southern Ohio Fabricators COmpany - SOFCO) - located in Batavia, Ohio - about 10 minutes from where I live. They also fabricate stuff for high rise buildings - such as the structural steel for the latest University of Cincinnati rennovations. They also fabricated all the supports for Vortex at PKI.
Johnny Upsidedown Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 The park the new flyer is in has just opened. There is one photo of the flyer looks like it goes up into a mountain. Go here for more http://www.amusementtoday.com/
