Have you been there before?

If you've been to Disneyland Paris before (even if you have NOT been to the studios) you'll be fine with 2 days, and 1 day at Asterix.

If you have NOT ever been to the resort before, spend 3 days there.

This also depends on if you're into Disney, or more into Coasters. If you're not that into Disney, you'll also only need 2 days.

I did pretty much the entire park, plus a few rerides, in about six hours in July in 2001. A lot has been added since then so I'm probably not much help though. I think two days will be enough, but if you're really worried about not having enough time I doubt you'd have a horrible time spending an extra day there anyway I haven't been to Asterix, but personally I'd rather spend an extra day there than Disney.

I did two days at DLP, but I could have used an extra day. Disney Studios can be done in about a day. Disneyland Paris can be done in 1, but I felt like I was rushing through things. 2 might be give you a more lesiurely pace.

I just got Back from DLP. Went there at the end of the UK trip. I stayed at the Sequoia Lodge at the resort. Took the train in from London and the station is at the resort which made it easy and nice. Went to Disney Studios first at about 2:00 P.M. Was able to do most everything by closing at 6:00. Hopped over to Disneyland and did a quick walk around the park, hit a few rides and ate dinner before closing at 8:00. Slept in the next day and got to Disneyland about noon. We were pretty wiped out from the UK trip and didn't want to get up early for once. We did just about everything in the park by closing that evening. Missed only Space Mountain because it was closed for filming, the train because of time and It's a Small World because .... It's a Small World. The following day we did touristy stuff in Paris. The last day our train didn't leave until 6:30 P.M. so we went back to Disney Studios and did a couple of things we didn't catch the first day, then hopped over to Disneyland and got the things we didn't get done before. Spent the rest of the day shopping and doing some rerides.

I think unless your a real Disney fanatic 2 full days is enough to do both parks. Crowds will be larger in July then they were for us in June but the parks are open a little longer too. Use the Fastpass system to cut down on wait times.

Have fun.

Thanks everybody.

I decided to be one day at Asterix and 2 days at Disney.

It wont be the first time to me but for my niece it would be so what I'm planning to do is to sit with her beofre our trip and write down all the attractions she doesnt want to miss and to add my coasters to that list so we know what to do and what not.

Park Asterix is great and I hope it wont be crowded too much.

After Paris we will be in Walibi Belgium (been there many times already) and then to Afteling although I found out the new water coaster wont be opened this year ! .

Robb/Elissa, when did you first/last go to Disneyland Paris? Did you ever go there with the TPR gang, or make a TR on it?

Would be pleased to know

Would be pleased to know

From 1992 to 1999 I had projects based in London and Paris so I would go quite often.

I went once in opening year, and I had probably about 40 visits between '93 and '99. Then I didn't go back again until 2002, and then my last visit was in 2005.

The only TPR TR's we did were for those last two visits.

Overall, I will say that the park seemed to have gone downhill a bit in the past 5 years.

I was not impressed with the Space Mountain re-do and MUCH prefer the original (it was actually my #1 coaster when it first opened in 1995, but at that point I had probably been on less than 50 coasters).

All the modifications they've made to Indy seem to get worse every time.

Overall, the park is a million times nicer than Disneyland in California, and I ever prefer it over Magic Kingdom in Florida. I also think that my recent visits to Tokyo Disneyland have kind of spoiled me on Paris, but I still think it's a great park.

Disney Studios is honestly kind of a joke. For people who complained about DCA having not much to do, you really need to look at this park.

I'm really hoping these new additions will add a lot more to it!

Anyway, I would say that unless you're a true Disney fanatic and need to see EVERY show, attraction, nuance of the park, 2 days is plenty.

I'll put it this way, a few years ago we had 4 days in DLP, the first 2 days were great, but by the end of day 3\start of 4, we were just wandering about trying to think of stuff to do! I'd say 2 days max!
