thefitness Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Hey guys i got rid of the dumb story line and now im just gonna post pictures of the park.I feel like its my best park yet so if you see anything wrong or you like it could you say something? And advice on how to make it more realistic would be cool too.Thanks. Smith's Thrill Park i geuss these are the teaser shots of whats to come
AlmereStars Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 looks good not much too see yet, but it looks good can't wait for a big pic update where'd you get the round roofs? on this pic:
thefitness Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 I got them here in the hangar51 set http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=485835&perpage=30&highlight=&pagenumber=1
dragoncoaster1292 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 I'm liking the woodie in the backround there! I really like what little I have seen of the park, and can't wait for more!
thefitness Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 Ok well here are two pics of the Woodie,Headliner. More pics tomorrow mostlikely. Layout of Headliner Let me know what you think!=] Station Still Needs A LOT of work
goleafsgo Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 kinda boring design... and the smaller airtime hills looks very triangular.
CoasterAddiction7 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 You can't, it's the way RCT3 is built... I suck at theming, especially doing stations. So believe me when I say this, the station looks good already!
kenshinmac Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Honestly I don't like the turnaround... It looks painful. I think if you went with a upwards corner to start then a turn and a downward corner as the exit it would probably be more comfy. Also varying the airtime hills height will make it look a little better.
thefitness Posted July 4, 2006 Author Posted July 4, 2006 Ok i fixed the turnaround and made the airtim ehills different heights
kenshinmac Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Definitely like the turnaround more... Another thing you could try with the airtime hills is throwing in a double up or double down on one of them to take up that extra space. It will vary things up and would be a cool mix in the ride.
thefitness Posted July 5, 2006 Author Posted July 5, 2006 Hey Everyone Here is an update on my park Does anyone know wher i can make better signs? PAINT SUCKS!! New Project(ill give you a hint...its a Vekoma) RotoDrop ,DropOut New Custom Vekoma Roller Skater
goleafsgo Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 go buy photoshop for 500bucks, or doesnload the trial version, or download it for free off limewire etc.
goleafsgo Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 search under "programmes"... name: adobe photoshop... then download any version you want (i think 9.0 is newest), and make sure it either comes with a serial code or you download a seperate serial code...
kenshinmac Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Guys edit those posts... Downloading commercial software is illegal and discussing it is just asking for a banning... There are plenty of free options. Try downloading the GIMP from http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/ and you get a Windows installer that should set you up(make sure you download GTK as well as you will need it. It is on the same site). That will give you many of the features of Photoshop and it is free and you don't get in trouble.
thefitness Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 Ya kenshinmac is right so please change them here is that project i was working on...its a vekoma flying coaster and it basically ahs the saame layout as X Flight but i cant think of a name...any ideas? heres a pic
NitroRider Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Pretty good park, but that isnt hte same layout as X-Flight X-Flight
thefitness Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 Ya there is NO way you can make that on RCT3 so i just said it basicaly folloes the same layout
goleafsgo Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 it looks pretty similar, i think it would look better with a turning drop, and the turn before the loop should be more like the 1st turn
