I bought RCt3 yesterday and i think either something's wong, or i'm doing something wrong.

 

Whenever i build a ride peeps don't ride it! I am good in RCT2 and NL so i know what kinda curves a ride should get, but in RCT3 peeps JUST DON'T RIDE!! this also happens with flatrides.

 

Please help!

 

EDIT: Ignore the above and just answer the poll! A pic of the terrain i'll be using is on pg.3. I don't have Wil! or Soaked so just take that into consideration.

Usually you have to make the ride not so fast and intense. If u really want to keep ur coaster then use the Re-naming peeps thing.

Name one of ur peeps Sam Denney. This makes all peeps ride every coaster before leaving the park. So they'll have to ride it.

i can't show a pic cause the game is on a PC without internet.

 

My highest intensity rating of all my coasters is around 8.

 

But, tell me this, why won't people ride my flats?

i've got drop rides, chairswings and also a top spin. my top spin has been operating 2 years now and only one customer: the inspector!

Okay, I will take you through some troubleshooting:

 

1- Is your park open? <- simple

(If not, click on the park entrance and open the park.)

 

2-Is the ride open? <- simple

(If not, click on the ride and open it.)

 

3A- Is your ride far away from the entrance to the park?

(Peeps tend to ride things that are close to the entrance. If you have the expansion packs, one of them comes with a "passport machine", this offers incentives for peeps to roam further into your park.)

 

3B- Is your ride near other rides and attractions?

(Peeps don't like to go far out of their way for a ride, they will most likely stay in the area with many rides/attractions/food stalls/etc.)

 

4- Are the entrances to your rides connected to paths?

(Often times, when you terraform the landscape paths disconnect, if you get messages saying peeps are having trouble getting to the entrances of things, try smoothing out that areas terrain, as a path may be disconnected.)

 

Overall, I suggest that you start a new park. Try adding lots of scenery. And most of all, try to build you park around the park entrance, if you link things slowly outward, peeps will go.

 

I hope this helps you, though I'd have to see your situation to further help, I think this can assist you for the time being. BTW, numbers 1 & 2 are not meant to insult you, they are just two simple things that you could have easily missed.

Sorry for double post but theres (yet again) another problem!

 

I created a spinning coaster and a tilt coaster with ratings somewhere in the 7. When i go back to the coaster after a year, (in the game, duh!) the ratings are like 0.35 and some even lower.

 

Is this just a glitch or do coasters really get THAT badder?

I've alsso made an Giga coaster named Goliath (Kill me for being original), but its ratings stays the same!?

 

Also the tilt and spinner's rating is low, and then up again and so on!

 

My RCT is just F*#@$k up!

Sorry for the TRIPLE post but i got a qeustion. (yet again)

 

How do you get the Huss jump 2, split coaster, and that funny coaser that looks like the ride Hershey said they were getting?

If a coaster is down a lot, the ratings may fall drastically. However, once it is running again, the rating should go bak up. Try checking your down-time percent.

I think you game is just totally stuffed up!

 

I just had a look on the Atari Forums, and i can't find anything that is like your problem.

How do you get the Huss jump 2, split coaster, and that funny coaser that looks like the ride Hershey said they were getting?

 

Simple. Buy the expansion pack!
