  1. Well, besides the obvious nominations that have been mentioned already I ahve to mention, first of all, Rakevet Harim, at an amsuement pakr not too far from where I live. It has the weirdest layout, It is powered, goes up in giant spirals, rides close to the cieling(it's an indoor park), and has pretty much no interesting drops. It's a kiddy ride, only it's waaaaaay up high in the air. Also, it has weird enclsoed cars. But the WEIRDEST thing about it is that NOBODY knows what company made it! Not even the park managment! I asked them! And it doesn't look like any coaster I've ever seen. One of the coaster's two spiral "lift hills" The coaster's "Drop" from the cieling into the station. The artificial mountain that it goes through at some point Doesn't look like MACK or TOGO to me! And another one thats pretty high up on the WTF scale is the Orphan Rocker. Aside from its completely bizzare name, this coaster is one of the weirdest coasters on the planet. The coaster was built in 1988 and never opened to the public because of problems. They kept trying to work on it and opening it but it never did open. The cars are bizzare, they are like a suspended coaster without being suspended! Layout-wise, this looks like the world's biggest kiddie coaster. No giant drops or any scary manouvers, but it covers a HUGE area and has some steep turns. But one of the things that makes this coaster the weirdest is that it has a turn on the edge of a 200m(about 600ft) CLIFF!
  2. ^Heh, in a way I'm improving their experience, because the whole fun of rollercoasters is overcoming your fears, adnt he mroe I make them scared the more fun they have overcoming that fear! I do always mention that rollercoasters are(usually) very safe, though.
  3. ^^Well, I think it's silly to scare people with fake ride accidents. ...Instead I jsut scare them with real ones Like when I was tlaking to a girl in line for the Demon at SFGAm, which was her first ever looping coaster, and she said she's scared that it would get stuck on the loop. And my being a know-it-all overcame my desire to scare her silly before going on the ride, so I assured her that coasters can't get stuck on vertical loops(%99.9 of the time, anyway). But then I remembered seeing the Demon on "most shocking vacation videos" and went "Oh. I forgot. Except this one. But don't worry, that was just once, because the wheel axils broke." Obviously, that did wonders to make her feel safer. She ended up riding it, screaming her head off, but as soon as we hit the brakes she goes "that wasn't scary".
  4. ^Probably for a reason, too, seeing as those benches are not conencted, so they create an uneven, broken up line, which, at some point, might have an opening in it. Plus, an easy-to-move bench does not say "Do not cross" quite as much as an iron fence does.
  5. ^They're the sort of brakes thet keep the train going at a steady, slow speed even though it's going downhill. So while it may be going down vertically, it's not accelerating,a nd is in fact going rather slow.
  6. No, he has alot of talent, devotion and enjoys drawing. When you like doing something, you find time to do it. I hate it when people say stuff along the lines of what you said. Makes it look like he just belched out a drawing because he was bored and there was nothing good on TV.
  7. You se ehow both drops seem to have an EXTRA thick rail on them? That's not an extra thick rail, those are the brakes.
  8. So true! Forum filters suck. It totally looks like a giant toy.
  9. ^If you look real good you'lls ee that the seats really are stadium-ized. it's just that the seats in the back appear to be hsorter or have the restraitns pushed further down. And is it good thing that the wheels are small or not?
  10. There is no smiley on the internet to show just how in awe I am of your drawing skills, and your patience. You are amazing.
  11. I jsut burst out laughing reading those.
  12. Who needs renders? Let's take a look at the real thing Taken from the official Indiana Beach blog at: http://www.indianabeach.com/blog/
  13. I rode 2 S&S coasters. 1st being Hypersonic, which was HORRIBLE. 2nd being Avalanche, which was AMAZING. So either S&S is only good at wood coasters, or (hopefully), it got better at steel ones after they merged with Arrow.
  14. I am very interested in riding it as well, looks INSANE(for better or for worse). However, that first uphill-slope-and-neck-breaking-turn after the drop looks PAINFUL. So either the brakes at the top of the drop are on really strong, or that part might as well jsut chop your head off, by the looks of it. Also, how come the cornabll express' big fan turnaround is in the BACKGROUND? Is Steel Hawg built far away form the park itself? If you look at a picture of Indiana Beach from above you'd understand why this makes little sense.
  15. Great pics! However... "Nice airtime in the back"? That coaster had some Cyclops-esque airtime in the back car, without the age restriction. You would seriously go flying up into the buzz bars, or whatever that coaster had for restraitns, I forget. Max almost lost penguino on that thing (I'm sure Jahan would've been devestated). On one hand I am very saddened to see this TR come to an end, on the other hand I am glad that it made it this far So not much more to go, Will, just a couple more stricker's pics and PKI! That ride op riding the coaster train in tehastation like it was a skateboard was pretty awsome.
  16. Oh. My god. rawful.bmp
  17. what od you mean by "you can't make ANY costum rides"? there are plenty of costumr ides for RCT2.
  18. ^Oh, oops, I didnt look at the results, Iw as just checking out the submissions.
  19. Bah. I hate seeing a topic with so much effort put into it go unappreciated and/or uncommented. I'm getting the same issue with the Robby Rob comics so they have hardly been updated much recently as well. Either way I would love to see more of your pics, weather theyre on picasa or on TPR. Liked the twist on the TR
  20. ^You sound sarcastic but I'm actually wondering. Theyre all so good! Im not sure which I want to vote for
  21. Nolimits too has been worke don for several years now and recently Ole posted the first screenshots ever of nolmiits 2. It shows the terrain. http://www.nolimitscoaster.de/news.html On one hand I like how the texture changes compared to the steepness and I am so glad to see anything from NL2. On the other hand I think that the 3D grass he tried to create looks awful(and considering it should appear and disappear considering how close you are to it it should look even worse when riding a coaster). and overall it looks like a patch for NL1. Sky still looks flat. However, this is just the terrain and there is so much to go by when judging the pics. I can't wait to see what he does witht her ides though.
  22. ^Holy cow! That is REDICULOUSLY cheap for a coaster that big(or for a coaster in general, really), considering how much coasters usually cost!
  23. YaaaY! Always awesome to see you continue your TR. Are those pics photoshopped? Because theyre extremly high qualkity and the colors are so vibrant!
