Personaly I'm more cuious about built-in brake stripes that go along the track and can curve with it (Like Full Throttle or Kingda Ka), bcause with NL1's brakes being those side-based trims whenever someone tried to do something like this it didn't look right, and not all of us can model them for each track -

Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I am so ridiculously excited. I want this to be avalible so bad already, I'm dying to play it! I can't wait to see what people are going to do. Everything looks so... Beautiful! I mean... Wow! "All the features are done"... Such beautiful words to see! Need help making the demo parks? Don't worry, just joking... Mostly. -
Well to be fair you dont actually need to have the doctor there. A tardis, some dalkes, some cybermen, space theming, and you're good. Obviously if you do a dark ride you'd need actors and context and all that, but if you're just sticking some heavy theming on a rollercoaster you could get away with it.

I actually thought about this ages ago, considered making a nolimits ride out of it. I think it's a great idea and I find it hard to believe none of the Tussaud's parks tried to reach for the franchise. My guess is they inquired about it and couldn't come to an agreement about purchasing the rights or whatnot. But In my head I see Thorpe Park's COlossus themed to "Attack of the Daleks" with Dr. Who theming and a stime vortex tunnel around the inline twists.

^ Exciting!!! I'm thinking it shouldn't be too hard to add in the vertical drop feature, I mean, with the transfer track already being a thing, this seems to me like just a vertical transfer track! Now you have me curious about what other unique features and surprises are in store for us! I am physically anxious in anticipation for this game! -

Proslide Rocket Vs. Master Blaster?

I've only ever been n one, myself, and that was KEntucky Kingdom's Deluge back in 2007's Midwest trip, but if I recall correctly (and to be fair, I might not) Robb, Elissa, and the rest of the tripgoers I talked to about this felt that it was definitely better than the alternative kinds out there. -
^^Oh we don't deny that. Still, though... Could've been cool to see a 450ft or 500ft drop coaster get built somewhere. I doubt any park will do that in the forseeable future if it doesn't grant them the title of "tallest coaster" ^I'm not saying it doesn't count or anything, or that it's "cheating", it's just, when you ride Kingda Ka, Millennium Force, all those rides, you look forward to the giant first drop, at least I know I do. For me, the thrill of being on a 400ft coaster is knowing that you're about to fall all that distance. This ride doesn't have a one giant drop, which is FINE on it's own, I just can't help but feel that it'll keep other parks from building coasters that do have them. Since Top Thrill Dragster opened, 300ft coasters essentialy stopped being built (With one exception), since they would no longer fetch the "Tallest coaster" title.

I couldn't agree more... While I'm sure this ride's going to be really awesome, and I'd definitely ride i if I hit up the area, I think it'll keep parks from building a typical "tallest coaster ever" that has one huge drop running the entire height of the structure, top hat or not, since it's essentially pushing the bar too high to be reached anytime soon. I doubt rides like Kingda Ka would've been built the way they were if they weren't going to be the tallest roller coaster in the world (or at least america). I'm afraid I'm just not feeling like a coaster built this way really utilizes it's height, if it doesn't have gigantic drops. I mean, the coaster in the rendering essentially looks like "High Roller" on steroids. And while that's a good thing, It's slightly underwhelming at the same time. Having said all that, that nearly vertical twist drop looks amazing. EDIT - does anyone know if the rendering is the actual version of the ride that's going to be built? Because it doesn't look as tall as Kingda Ka.

Keep up the great work, guys! You have us all excited and on the edge of our seat! -
The excitement has got me reading through the old IAPPA updates. It's interesting to see which announcments panned out ("OMG you guys they seriously just announced they're going to put an Inversion on Hades!") And which ones we're yet to see anything from (Shuttle woodie, multi-car freefly extreme coaster) By the way, if anyone wants to geek out, I'm unofficialy announcing the current topic in the TPR chatroom to be "IAPPA geekout".

It's the most wonderful time of the year... Yay!!! It's IAPPA! I love reading about IAPPA and seeing all the crazy new stuff the companies came up with! I'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled for the waterslides, they always come up with some real crazy stuff in IAPPA and some miniature models I just want to buy and keep on display in my house! I'm so excited!
