  1. I went on a three day tour of Guangxi province and visited three cities and went to five parks. Warning: Out of necessity, the "F word" is featured, but hidden in this TR. February 13, 2016: Zhongshan Park in Guiping This park is located in Guiping county. This is a very poor city and very dirty. The park was also very dirty, but many locals were in the park and enjoying the rides. Gliding Dragon is located here and is a powered coaster. It is like so many others I have ridden. There aren't many rides and the park is not all that big. The people in Guiping are very friendly and it is probably because they do not see many foreigners. February 14, 2016: Expo Garden and Peoples Park in Baise I went to two parks in Baise today. The first is Expo Garden and it has another powered coaster like the one I rode at Zhongshan Park in Guiping. There is also a common jungle mouse here. This park is not on ACE's (the foremost experts on nothing) Census or RCDB (very helpful website when planning my travels). This park is free to enter and is very well kept. The garden areas are very nice. A short taxi ride took me to the next park. Peoples Park is a name given to many parks in China. Peoples Park in Baise has several kiddie rides and a small kiddie coaster that is SBNO. The coaster is the only ride in the park that does not work. This park is also not on RCBD or ACE's Census. As a side note, in English, Baise means "a good place to wash clothes". I am more interested in the French meaning of Baise. You can go look it up for yourselves. Hahahahahahahahaha. February 15, 2016: Nanning Shimen Forest Park and Fengling Childrens Park in Nanning This was my second visit to Nanning. I had visited in 2012 and went to other parks. Shimen Forest Park was my first park of the day. I got to ride another jungle mouse and my third powered Gliding Dragon of the trip. This park is an older park, but is very nice and a bit away from the city center. After Shimen Forest Park, a short cab ride brought me to Fengling Childrens Park where I would ride a Golden Horse spinning coaster and a kiddie coaster called Shuttle. Fengling Childrens Park is a lot like a modern theme park without a gate admission. It is very very nice. Both parks are just one mile from each other. In total, I have now visited 486 parks, ridden 987 coasters and found 329 coasters before ACE or RCDB. My first park of this trip was Zhongshan Park in Guiping county and I rode this thing. I am hungry! The next day, I was in the city of Baise. My first park today is Expo Garden. Here is the carousel shot for this park. Gliding Dragon was fun. The mouse is very common, but fun. It is a good thing I love these as they are so common. I went to Peoples Park and found this thing. It is SBNO. I wanted to go through the apple. On February 15, I started the day at Nanning Shimen Forest Park. There is a nice lake here. They have rides here. Here is one of them. It is the third Gliding Dragon of the trip. Here is another one of these things. My last park of the trip would be Fengling Children's Park. The Carousel is nice here. This is one of the biggest Ferris Wheels I have ever seen. I have ridden so many of these. This kiddie coaster would be the last coaster of the trip.
  2. Legoland Malaysia February 3, 2016 I went to my very first Legoland Park and had a great time. I rode all three coasters. I know that many of you have visited different Legoland parks and maybe none of this is anything you have not already seen, so I will talk about my impression of the park. First, I was expecting a kiddie park. What I visited was actually a very nice park that could entertain all ages. They even handed me a guide with activities adults could enjoy. It is very nice to see the Lego models on display that people have worked so hard to build. I hope to visit more Legoland parks in the future. The three coasters here raised my track record to 980 coasters and Legoland became park # 481 for me to visit. I have just arrived at my first Legoland Park. This was to be my first ride. It is Project X. This is Dragon's Apprentice. They do not allow single riders. I had to wait to ride with someone. It is a fun ride. Here is one more shot of Dragon's Apprentice. This ride looks like fun, but I do not think it was open. This was at the entrance to the Star Wars display. I visited Singapore's Merlion the day before. It was neat to see the model of it here. I enjoyed this ride. It was so hot and yet nobody was riding. This is my favorite ride at Legoland Malaysia. It is a lot of fun. Here is an action shot of the Dragon to finish the TR.
  3. Today I visited Universal Studios Singapore. I had a great time. My rides started with Enchanted Airways (coaster #972) and I found this coaster to be a lot of fun. Up next, came the newest coaster at the park. It is Puss In Boots Giant Journey. This ride was not very exciting, but it was coaster #973 for me. Canopy Flyer (#974) was my next coaster and despite the fact that it did not have any real drops, it was an enjoyable ride for me. Revenge Of The Mummy (#975) was next and I used the single rider line to walk right on. This ride is the best coaster in Universal Studios Singapore. I enjoyed the launches and scenery. Transformers was up next and it now my favorite non-coaster ride at any park. It actually felt like a coaster at times. It is great fun and I enjoyed the pace of the battle that riders are supposed to be involved in. I rode the Human side of Battlestar Galactica next. It is a fun ride and the Cylon side is even better. I count this as two coasters. Not only does each track have a different name, they are even two different types of coasters. Human (#976) is more like a giant roller skater and Cylon (#977) is a custom SLC. I could not help but notice that Universal Singapore is smaller than other Universal Parks in much the same way Hong Kong Disneyland is smaller than other Disney parks. With that being said, this park is worth checking out. I enjoyed it very much and Revenge Of The Mummy is my favorite indoor coaster. I have arrived at a park that I have wanted to visit for a long time. This is just inside the gate. It looked like it would be a busy day, but I got a pleasant surprise. Once I was past this point, the crowds disappeared. This is one of the first rides that I walked past. This would be the first I ride of the day for me. It is called Enchanted Airways. This would be the second ride I would go on. It is Puss In Boots' Giant Journey. Treasure Hunters was the next ride. Jeeps take passengers through ancient Egypt. Canopy Flyer was next. It towers over Jurassic Park. This thing is God Damned Excellent! This building houses the best non-roller coaster ride anywhere. Both sides of Battlestar Galactica are a lot of fun. They should paint both tracks the same color. This would really make it confusing.
  4. No. I was upset over him saying that I couldn't ride because I was not a Chinese person. In regards to me supporting small parks, I try to support small, mid-sized and large parks. I started riding rides when I was very small and it was my early experience on those rides that turned me into a life long fan of roller coasters. Although some parks and coasters are more important than others, all parks (except for places like GZ Childrens Park) and coasters are important and should be supported. Parks of different sizes play an important role in the amusement park industry. They offer something for all members of the family. A good kids/family area or family park like Idlewild is essential to the amusement park experience. I also do not see any difference in people wanting to ride the mostly tame rides at the Disney parks and me wanting to visit small parks in China.
  5. January 18, 2016: Colorful Amusement Park with a stop at Guangzhou Childrens Park I went to Yingde in northern Guangdong today to visit Colorful Amusement Park. As I had a layover in Guangzhou, I checked out the recently revamped Guangzhou Childrens Park. Guangzhou Childrens Park: This park closed two years ago and replaced all of the rides. A new powered coaster was built here. Although adults were seen riding it today, I got denied. I was told three different reasons. Reason 1: I was too tall. When I pointed to other adults who were the same height as me who had been riding, this led to... Reason 2: I weighed too much. When I told the ride I op that I ride these all of the time without any problems, it led to... Reason 3: I was not Chinese. It is at this point that guys like Frederick Torres (he of the scissors attack at Islands of Adventure) come in handy. I would imagine that, if I was back home and denied service to a person for being Chinese, I would be out of business or out of a job pronto. For those who think what I typed is uncalled for, you are supporting racism. I am not so much mad about being denied the coaster as I am about being excluded for the 3rd reason the ride op gave. Reason 4: The ride op is a pimpled faced @$$clown who answers to micromanaging park management. GZ Childrens Park will get none of my money. Colorful Amusement Park: This park was the reason for my outing. Yingde is part of the larger city of Qingyuan. Yingde is a very small city that rarely sees foreigners. I wanted to go to the park here. The Chinese writing says the park is called 7 Colorful Amusement Park while in English, the park is called Colorful Amusement Park. There are several basic rides here and the park is located next to the river. It is a nice little place for families in this part of China to play together. The rides are 5 and 10 RMB each. There is a twin helix powered coaster called Gliding or Sliding Dragon. I am not 100% sure on the name. The lady running the rides had no problem with letting me ride this one. I also rode the paratrooper. It is worth a little bit of your time if you are in the area. I would not plan a half day for it if you are visiting China on vacation though as there are many larger parks to visit, unless you just like smaller, lesser known parks in parts of China where there are no foreigners. I was on my way to Yingde, Qingyuan to visit Colorful Amusement Park. I decided to check out the revamped Guangzhou Childrens Park. A new powered coaster has been added here and the old kiddie coaster has been removed. Here is the train on the new coaster. Here is is carrying a few people. that is an adult in one car. The coaster is set among a lot of greenery. It has a very nice location. Too bad about the "No Foreigners" policy. I went to the city of Yingde next and visited Colorful Amusement Park. The English sign says Colorful, the Chinese writing says 7 Colorful. Here is the what greets you when you enter the park. I took this picture from outside of the park. Here is the carousel shot for this park. I rode this paratrooper today. There is a powered coaster here. I think it is called Sliding Dragon. It is very similar to other powered coasters I have ridden. This one has some nice landscaping. I believe this is an actual garden. This will finish the TR.
  6. January 1, 2015: The Great European Carnival is in HK. Only four rides (out of about 30) are open. What is so great about it? Late January 2015: My second visit to the carnival results in me being denied a ride on the coaster as the c---f----- at the entrance was a c---f-----. Most of the rides still are not open. January 9, 2016: I am in Hong Kong again and the carnival has returned. I walk over to see if the rides are open. Most of them are. I decide to go in. I first get on the wacky worm, which is called Roller Coaster. The c---f------ was not there today, so I got to ride. They give four circuits per ride. It is also a very smooth ride. After Roller Coaster, I walk over to Euro Coaster. This is a Zyclon coaster. It is very smooth. It is like the Pepsi Python at Coney Island in Cincinnati. Rides here are on a pay as you go basis. Many rides cost 5 or 6 tokens. The rides appear to be much cheaper than last year. Maybe the rides were so expensive last year because many of them did not open until late in the carnival. I wished that they would have brought a scrambler and that would have completed the ride lineup. The carnival is in Hong Kong until mid-late February. Check it out if you visit the city. It is much better than the crap they did last year. Despite a shitty 2014/2015 carnival where most of the rides opened late, I decided to tempt the hand of fate again this year. This flume right inside the gate. It is actually open. This swing ride was not here last year. It is nice to see a pirate ship here. The fun house looks cool. I got to ride this wacky worm today. It is called Roller Coaster. The young HK Chinese girl wouldn't let me ride it last year because she was a C$@#. The carnival brought in a bigger coaster this year. It is nice to see one of these after so many jungle mice. Here we go up the lift..... Here is an on ride shot to finish off the TR.
  7. January 2, 2016: I had a long holiday weekend, so I decided to bring in the new year with an outing to the city of Beihai in Guangxi, China. I will say that first, I looked for the "roller coaster apartments" I mentioned on this board last week. I did not see them. I wonder if they are still being built. I did go to a couple of parks and discovered a couple of new coasters that ACE or RCDB did not know about. In fact, I have now discovered 310 coasters before ACE or RCDB. Zhongshan Park: This park is in the northern part of Beihai. There are two coasters here. One is a spinning coaster with an oval layout. It has not carried anyone in a long time. The other coaster is a kiddie coaster. I rode the kiddie coaster and I also checked out the dark ride here. The dark ride is mostly cheesy and some of the displays are poorly lit, but two things make this ride a bit different. One thing is that passengers ride on small boats. The other thing about this ride is the use of people dressed as ghosts to reach out and grab you as are enjoying the ride. It is fun for what it is. It is my favorite dark ride in China. Silver Beach: I went to this place next. It is the #1 beach in China and actually is very nice. The water here is very calm and free of sharks. There are clean restroom facilities, boat rides on the ocean, seafood restaurants and even bumper cars. Beihai Garden Expo: After silver Beach, I went to Beihai Garden Expo. This place opened in 2015. in a few years, the plants and trees will be very nice to look at, but right now, they are still growing. There are two coasters here. One is mouse and the other has a loop and a single corkscrew. I finished this trip having now visited 478 parks and ridden 968 roller coasters. It is 8am and I am at Zhongshan Park in Beihai. This is China's coolest dark ride. Instead of walking through it or riding in a car, passengers ride in boats. This is one of the coasters at Beihai's Zhongshan Park. It doesn't work anymore. Here is Zhongshan Park's other coaster. This one is still in operation. I have been on several of these. The flume at Zhongshan Park would open later in the day. My next stop as at China's #1 beach. The water here is very calm and free of sharks. Beihai Garden Expo was my next stop. It just opened in 2015. There is a small amusement park inside. There is a large Ferris wheel here. This looks familiar. Every park in China has one of these it seems. A much bigger coaster is here too. Larger coasters are becoming more common as Chinese people are starting to have more money. Here is one more photo to finish the TR.
  8. I am surprised that some people thought my message was spam as the link contains the words roller and coaster. I am going to Beihai today. If this place is finished, I will take photos of it.
  9. http://www.furniturefashion.com/roller_coaster_apartments_project_in_beihai_china/ I will visit this city later this week.
  10. December 12, 2015: Fantasy D World I went to Fantasy D World today. I actually learned of this park a few years ago and my first attempt at a visit in 2012 resulted in me getting rained out. The park was originally called Dongyue Joy Park. It has clearly changed names. Fantasy D World opened in 2009 and is an actual gated amusement park. It is not a city park with a collection of rides like so many Chinese parks. This place was built with the purpose of being an amusement park. The buildings in this park look much older and only a few attractions from the opening day are still here. Many of the original rides have been replaced. It seems only the coaster (Jungle Flying Squirrel), flume, haunted house and cycle monorail are from opening day. Most every thing else looks much newer. I got to the park about 3:30. I was told that the rides were closing at 4pm. The park usually closes at 5pm. I got a huge discount on a ride package. The ride package includes one ride on each ride. It is about $21 USD. I only paid $6 USD as I would only get to ride a few rides. I got to ride the coaster twice. It is a very common design here. I had a chance to ride the flume, but the water was so dirty that I opted out of riding it. The park is not very big, but it has a lot of trees. It also had an additional coaster at one time, but that coaster has been removed. The buildings look old, but the rides are replaced every few years. It is a nice little place to spend a couple of hours and take some photos. I have arrived at a small park in the southern part of Guangzhou. Here is something that you do not see often. It is a kiddie Trabant. The carousel looks newer than the rest of the park. The flume dates from the opening day of the park and is in operation. I had a chance to ride, but I turned it down due to the water being so dirty. The haunted house appears to be one of the original attractions here. This is one of the newest rides here. Here is one of the family rides. I see these a lot. I think I have seen this before. China is infested with mice and that is a good thing. I have been on so many of these. I would have rode this wave swinger to finish my visit, but the rides were closing. I got to the park 30 minutes before the park closed.
  11. Yes. The ride lineup here is pretty typical of Chinese parks. In someways, ride lineups here remind me of hell's video store in The Far Side where all of the videos were copies of Ishtar. Park A has a jungle mouse and powered dragon. Park B is a 10 minute walk down the street and has a jungle mouse and a powered dragon.
  12. The location occupied by EF was perfect for a coaster. The hillside was used like supports. The supports used were not that tall. I wonder if they could have used the same station and supports and replaced most of the track (kept the station, brake run and lift) and added floorless trains and renamed the ride. As I said, it was worth saving after seeing the length of the queues for Rolling X Pain.
  13. Rollo Coaster at Idlewild is #1. Bear Trax at Seabreeze, Galaxy Express at Fantawild Dreamland in Zhengzhou and Lil' Dipper at Camden Park are also very good.
  14. In order to understand Everland's misfire in removing Eagle's Fortress, one should look at the following wait times for the major coasters on a day when 50000 people were in the park: Attendance: 50000 guests T-Express: 3 hours wait time (3 train operation) Rolling X Pain: 20 minutes wait time (1 train operation) Eagle's Fortress: 60-90 minutes wait time (2 train operation) Keep in mind that lived in Korea for a while and visited Everland many times. Eagle's Fortress always always always had a much longer wait than Rolling X Pain. When Eagle's Fortress closed, Rolling X Pain was down for about six months or so and the corkscrews were replaced. Scrapping or selling Rolling X Pain and using the money to refurbish EF would have been the better move in this case due to the longer queue lines at EF. If EF was indeed at the end of its life, Rolling X Pain should have already been pushing up daisies. If war breaks out in Korea, I am with the north over this. South Koreans can run their country the way they want and I can support the other side. I am convinced that God will send some madman from the north to nuke the south over the loss of EF. Samsung (owner of Everland) has brought shame upon the South Korean people for generations to come. The keys to the rooms at the motel replacing EF will not only unlock the rooms, they will also unlock the gates of hell. God's throne in heaven is attached to a car on EF.
  15. Yes. The Dragon and mice coasters are everywhere in this country. Most locals can't afford anything any bigger. This is for those who want to put a face with the name.
  16. December 2, 2015: I went to Guangzhou today to visit Shiba Luohan Mountain Forest Park. This park is in the southern part of Guangzhou. There are no direct buses to the park but some buses stop near the park. I found this park recently (before RCDB) and decided to visit today. The park is located on a mountain and has an area with rides. The park opened in May of 2014 and the condition of the rides reflect this. There two gravity powered coasters here and a powered coaster. There is also a huge Ferris wheel that gives great views of the whole area below the park. There is a frisbee ride, a disko coaster and traditional rides like a carousel, wave swinger and bumper cars. The neat thing about this park is the rides are dirt cheap. I rode all three coasters for less than $6 USD. The park is in an area far from the city center and serves locals. The park is also very clean. I hope that the park will do well. I have now ridden 964 coasters, visited 474 parks and found 302 coasters before ACE or RCDB could find them. I have arrived at one of China's newest parks. Here are some of the rides that greeted me. This colorful paratrooper ride entertains visitors here. A powered coaster is here. It is called Golden Dragon Roller Coaster. The dragon looks like it is red and not golden. Why is everything a lie? Outer Space Flying Car is another Chinese kiddie coaster. I am a little kid. These are common all over China. I like the colors they used for this one. It is a very common sight to see in China. This will finish the TR.
  17. In order of the most used: 1. Facebook 2. WeChat 3. Whats App 4. You Tube I share things, contribute, comment and the like.
  18. That is a good question. Sometimes I do. The sad thing is that most Chinese people can't afford a big roller coaster. That is why China is infested with mice coasters and kiddie coasters. I simply enjoy the parks and coasters for what they are.
  19. I just traveled for the holiday here in China. I visited the city of Luohe and had a short stopover in Wuhan to visit parks. Luohe: Peoples Park-This park made headlines some time ago for having the worst zoo in the world. I made sure to visit the zoo and was somewhat sad to find that the zoo had cleaned up its act. You can read more about it from the following link: http://www.ibtimes.com/barking-lion-china-zoo-passes-dog-african-lion-photos-1386813 Back to the park, there are some rides here. There are two coasters, but the park is not on RCDB. The mouse coaster was a bit fun for what it was. The kiddie coaster is based on a Golden Horse design, but it was not from Golden Horse and was a bit longer. I rode both coasters, visited the zoo and went to the next park. Shenzhou Birds Park-This park is somewhat new, but that hasn't stopped the owners from revamping the park. There are two coasters here. Angry Birds is a spinning mouse coaster and is similar to the Golden Horse spinners, but it is not by Golden Horse. It is total crap. A Wacky Worm is here, but it is being moved to a new location in the park. It was up by the front gate, but is being moved to a location near Angry Birds. There is a huge Ferris wheel here. Many of the rides are are being moved and new rides are being built. This will be a fun place in about six months or so. This park is not on RCDB. Xiangchewan Amusement Park-This place is located on the western outskirts of the city and closed sometime ago. There are two coasters here that are SBNO. Wuhan: Zhongshan Park: I had been to this park before, but I stopped in for a short while to ride the Moto Roller Coaster. It is a very nice park. It has its own stop on the Wuhan metro system. Dijiao Park: This park is about a 30 minute metro ride from Zhongshan Park and is next to Dijiao station. There is a small powered coaster called Golden Dragon Roller Coaster. I rode it and then left. This completed my trip. I have now ridden 961 coasters and I have found 281 coasters before ACE or RCDB could find them. Here is the entrance of Luohe Peoples Park. My first park of the trip. This is just inside. There are monkeys here. There are also rides here. Boo!!!!!!!!!! A little kiddie coaster is here. It looks like a Golden Horse ride but it is not. It is a bit slow. A mouse coaster is here. I like the cars on this coaster. Here is the mouse in action. A short cab ride took me to Shenzhou Birds Park. There is a nice lake here. There is a giant Ferris wheel at this park. A Wacky Worm is here. It is being relocated to a new area in the park. The relocation is nearly complete. They are repainting it. Angry Birds!!!!!! It looks like a Golden Horse design but it is not. Here is one side of it. Here it is in action. I went to Xiangchenwan Park next, but it was closed. I made a short visit to Zhongshan Park in Wuhan to ride Moto Roller Coaster. It is a fun ride. Dijiao park and Golden Dragon Roller Coaster was next. It should be called Red Dragon Roller Coaster. It is a typical powered coaster. Here is an on ride action shot to finish the TR.
  20. I went to Shunde in Foshan today to visit the Shunde Half Day Amusement Park. This park is about 20-30 minutes (depending on traffic) from Chuanlord Holiday Manor, which has been featured on this website in other TRs. This park was built to be an amusement park. It is not a multi-purpose city park like so many places in China. Rides and games are all that is here. It is an older park, but some of the rides are new. It had a nice little crowd today and the rides are not very expensive. There is a powered coaster here that circles a small train ride and gazebo. Bumper cars, a paratrooper, moon cars and a pirate ship are here. This is a gated park in that it has a main entrance and a back gate. There are different options for enjoying the park. A POP gives you unlimited rides. Another pass gives you one ride on each ride. You can also buy tickets for individual rides. The concept of amusement parks is still somewhat new to China and it was neat to see an early example of a Chinese amusement park. I have arrived at the Shunde Half Day Amusement Park. This is a gated park with free admission. The moon cars ride, arguably a coaster, greets guests just inside the main gate. The carousel is an older model. This park has been here for a while. The bumper cars ride is one of the newer rides here. This gazebo is surrounded by the powered coaster. The writing on this operator booth says Jin Long Hua Che, which means Golden Dragon Train. The train looks like a gold dragon. Here is the ride in action to finish out the TR.
  21. I had much of the park to myself. Motor Coaster had an hour wait due to the slow crew. Blue Fire had less than a 30 minute wait. Crazy Snowboard had a five minute wait. The mine train had a 30 minute wait. Twister, White Horse, Spinning Coaster and Galaxy Coaster were all walk ons. The midway areas were totally empty.
  22. August 29, 2015: Before Ocean Park and Hong Kong Disneyland, there was Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park. Also known as Lai Yuen, this park opened in 1949 and closed "forever" in 1997. Nothing last forever though and as such, in 2015, Lai Yuen is back for the summer. The park is actually now a temporary carnival built at the waterfront in Hong Kong's central district. The owners have taken the time to try to recreate the park by recreating park landmarks. Although the rides here may not be much for most of us, it is nice to see a defunct park make a comeback. There is no entrance fee to the park and the best attraction here is a small museum about the park's history that features a lot of photos and two carousel horses. The museum is free to enter. I didn't ride anything as a thunderstorm warning closed all of the rides, but I did eat some food and bought a couple of Lai Yuen notebooks at the souvenir shop ($5 HKD each-very cheap). The park is scheduled to run through September 3. I hope that it will come back next year if provided that it was successful this year. Lai Chi Kok Amusement Park has returned for 2015 after closing forever in 1997. This tells us where we need to go. They have built a birthday cake to celebrate the fact that the park opened 66 years ago. They have the usual games here based on traditional park games. The Ferris Wheel you see in the background is not a part of the park. The merry go round is always a must at a park. This is one of about a half a dozen rides here. This giant dinosaur is also a slide. This is a walk through based on an old elementary school in HK. The Bumper Cars were waiting for the storm warning to end in order to carry passengers. They had a little photo museum at the park. These horses were from the park's original carousel.
  23. No. I did not compare an SLC with a knockoff. The one at Euro Park is a knockoff. The one I compared it with at Happy World is also a knockoff and is by the same company I think.
  24. August 24, 2015: Euro Park I went to Euro Park near Jinan today. There are nine coasters here. I would ride eight of them thanks to the ride op not letting me go on Childrens Coaster. Battle of Blue Fire, a Blue Fire clone from Mack,is easily the best ride in this park. I rode it four times. The launch is very intense and the ride is very smooth. Mack has done an excellent job with this ride. Twister is an SLC that was very rough. I rode the same design at Happy World in Fuzhou last year and loved it, so I had high hopes this one. I was let down. The mine train here was unlike any other mine train I have been on. It is nice to see the Chinese do something different with their coasters. Galaxy Coaster is a spinning coaster with theming that was inspired by Space Mountain. Again, it is good to see the Chinese do something different. I really liked this coaster. Motor Coaster is very rough. It is a knockoff of the Vekoma motor bike coasters. I didn't really enjoy it, except for the launch. Spinning Coaster is a mouse coaster. I have been on others like it. I am not sure why they copy these designs so much here. Crazy Snow Board is a nice ride, but I would not want to see it in every park. White Horse Coaster was heavily themed inside a building, but I thought it was a bit rough. I didn't enjoy it. In all, I added eight coasters to my track record and I am now at 954 coasters. I just have 46 more to go before I reach the magic roller coaster. Today will be a big day for adding credits to my track record. This will be my first ride of the day. I have been wanting to ride this for a while. Mack does a great job with mega coasters. The White Horse coaster is in a building. It is very rough. Childrens Coaster would have been the third coaster of the day, but the ass clown running it would not let me ride. I had a good experience on a ride just like this last year. This one was a bit rough. Crazy Snowboard became my second of this type of coaster. I am not sure that I want to see these all over China. The mine train had a lot of theming. I found this ride to be very smooth. Motor Coaster became my third coaster of this type and my second knock off version of the ride. I rode this, but I have been on several of them already. Galaxy Coaster is a huge spinning coaster that tries to be Space Mountain. It is actually a lot of fun. The boat chute ride gets riders very wet. This will finish the TR.
  25. August 23, 2015 Jinan Zoo-This is a zoo with amusement rides tucked into one corner of the zoo. The rides area has been undergoing renovation and many old rides have been replaced. Some of the new rides have not yet opened. There is a Fruit Worm kiddie coaster here. It is open. It is like the ones I rode at Haibin Park in Zhuhai and at the Zhengzhou zoo. There is a larger coaster here but it is still in the testing phase. It looks like it will be a fun ride. The two coasters here are #281 and #282 that I have found before ACE or RCDB. The animal exhibits could be better in someways. There is a 20 RMB charge for the reptile house and the animals there do not have big enough enclosures to even turn around. Sea turtles are in water that is a couple of inches deep. They could provide a better exhibit to house these animals with the money they are charging. Daming Lake Park-This park is a short bus ride away from the zoo. There is a coaster here, but it is SBNO. The lake is very. nice. Most of the rides, except the coaster, are kept up and are new. Maybe this place will build a new coaster. I am at the Jinan Zoo. Will they have rides here? There are rides here. This is a new Ferris Wheel. It has not opened yet. A Fruit Worm coaster is here. It is like other kiddie coasters I have ridden. Here is my on ride shot. A bigger coaster is here. It looks like a fun ride. It is still in the testing phase. A short bus ride later and I was at Daming Lake. There is a big coaster here. It is out of service and has been for a while. At least I have ridden others like it.
