Overall I thought it was a good solid year. It certainly was much better than last year's. I was happy to see the return of a lot more scare zones and original themed mazes. Scary Tales was my favorite this year while Doomsday was my least favorite. Bill and Ted was as fun as always and if you happen to like Rocky Horror, you will enjoy the live show.

Anything is better than the one that Madonna did for Die Another Day. Though I have to say that I really do not care much for the new one. -
October will be here soon, so I thought it would be fun to start a thread that features information about any local haunts, haunted houses, mazes, hay rides, personal garage etc. Feel free to post any information such as dates, times, location. Also if you are involved in the construction of one it would be great if you included construction photographs. As for a big one in my area, it would be this one: The Tale of Mary Martin And the Village of the Damned October 17, 18, 24, 25th, and 31st. It is located in Melrose, Florida which is about 15 miles due east of Gainesville, Florida. Admission is $5.00 There is an awesome web site found here: http://www.somethingintheice.com/ The Tale Of Mary Martin.

Are you on Xbox or ps3? If Xbox, I might rent it this weekend if the store has it. My Gamertag is 2001malibu47802. Xbox -
Onward to Sea World's Manta and a little Old Town. Though, for some reason, the tension was not right. The ride really did not look like its normal intense self. That have one of these here. The Starflyer was closed over at Magical Midway. Maybe next time Andrew. We watched this go a few times. We gave Windstorm a ride, since Andrew and Bryan needed the credit. Hooray for credits! Sure is an ugly worm. Andrew looks like he is tall enough. After Sea World we went over to Old Town since they changed out a coaster . Instead of a Dragon Coaster there is now a Wacky Worm. I guess we can go ride these. Quick Queue is now at Sea World. I guess I should include a wall photo. I would have ridden the skytower, but it was down for the day. More dirt and dirt. There is a hole in the ground. Dumpster photo? The next few pictures will be mostly dirt pictures. Let us check out Manta.

Guitar Hero World tour Vs. Rock Band 2

So doea anyone want to play Rock Band 2? Game Name: TPR Erik -
Yes, even more. That is it for the Universal update, Sea World is coming soon. Here is a closer look. The new castle type building is simply huge. One of the Jurassic Park gates has been closed off to the public. Yep. This was the old way to get to Flying Unicorn and DD. Some old queue/walkway. You never used to get a DD shot from here before. The old Enchanted Oak from its backside. Let us cross over the new bridge. More Harry Potter you say?
-
Over to IOA! I love the off-season! There is some large building shed over there. Ok, I guess we can go ride now. Walls have cut us off from the super extended DD queue line. It really looks like an abandoned coaster now. We see you Flying Unicorn. Or is it the former Flying Unicorn? More magical construction. Here is the old bridge across to Jurassic Park. Yes, we see you new huge building in the background. Anyone else spot the word, "Anger" for some reason? Not any more. This is what the Enchanted Oak used to look like. As you walk into the DD queue you can really see how much they have cleared out of the old Enchanted Oak area. DD exit. Yep, all gone! Well, almost. Poor old DD store. Ok, maybe this is too close. Here is a closer look. This is the new Dueling Dragons store. More walls. Walls. Lots of new magical walls. No, those still look the same. The area around Dueling Dragons has been drastically changed. Which has been ordered by this guy. This is in case you had no idea what is going on in the back part of the park. From a slightly different angle. It is the brand new bridge. I post this because its tradition. The map looks different now. You can see Harry Potter construction from over here now. 5 minute wait for Hulk? Yes please!

Here are some more! Blue Man Group will not be lonely much longer. Yep Another view of the future station area. That is All I am standing on today. Piece of Dirt. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Yes, it is true, Universal is getting a new coaster for 2009. Ok, let us check out another construction zone. We did not need these.....do you know why? New Orlando credit for Andrew...way to go! Some cool looking pumpkin head guy. Random signage. We mourn for Astroland. Another 10 minute queue. The Mummy ride is good, the new Mummy movie is not. The 360 spheres look really strange today.

Yes it has been a while since I have updated this thread. Guess what? I just did. I have not back down since last May, (Which you can find that link here: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=43601) so there is a lot of new things to post. This is a rather large update as it does contain the following: Lots of newish The Worlds of Harry Potter construction at IOA. Lots of newish Rock-It construction zone photos from Universal. Halloween Horror Nights construction. And more.... As a bonus I also have included some photos of the Manta construction over at Sea World as well as pictures of the brand new coaster in Orlando. So enjoy! NOTE: Feel free to add comments. It is an exclusive head on a stick photo in the HHN Disaster queue maze. We see you Bryan. Some people wanted to go ride this, since it is newish attraction. It looks like the Jaws queue is going to be used again for HHN. I always look forward to Bill and Ted. A 5 minute wait for Men In Black? I guess we could. I see you Nambu.....or was it Lambu? I never noticed the Krustyland map before. Did I tell you that I LOVE the off-season? Andrew needed to get his Simpsons credit. Pumpkins are always cool. Just a swinging. On the other side is a small playground. Chalkboards alone are simply evil enough. It is an old-style school desk. It is some sort of creepy schoolhouse. This area was already open to the public during the daytime, let us go inside. This building looks cool. Let us take a closer look. Some random school bus. Here is a close up of a dead flamingos. Dancer boxes?? She is not your ordinary Queen of Hearts. This must be some twisted take on Alice in Wonderland around here. Who......Are........U? We are greeted by some HHN scare zone construction. I LOVE the off season. There was a rather large project going on at City Walk. Some random banner. These are the current movies playing at the theatre. I am not sure if Hitchcock is considered current though. I am glad they are going back to an original Universal idea instead of using licensed characters. Let us commit our parking space to memory. As in memory card. It is only a couple more weeks until HHN starts up again. These are the current parking prices.

If ANY more of Ayn Rand's writings or quotes appear in here I will personally see to it that this thread's existance is removed from the universe. The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me. -
^ Actually I was a little quick on my first response. When I ran the album on my living room system it sounded MUCH better. I accidently put the CD on a low bi rate setting when I transferred it to my Ipod, which is a bad thing for this record. While not as strong as the first 4, I now do like it.

I sadly have to agree with Derek. Metallica is still one of my favorite bands, but I have not been very impressed with the last several albums...well honestly nothing since Justice has really done it for me. What is the deal with the sound recordings of the last two albums, are they into trying to making them sound worse than they should?

Next time you guys go to Korea, even if it is another 3 day trip, I am most certainly going to go. I must ride Eagle's Fortress!!!!!! -
I know somebody posted this somewhere else, but I am not sure where. So here it is again. Yes, it is totally those kids fault, not the park's. Just to remind you that when you do post a new topic, please be more descriptive. Additional Comments can be made here: TPR thread on the topic

Photo and Video TR: Behemoth Tour and More

Onward to Coney Island which consists of two seperate parks: Astroland and Dino's Wonder Wheel Park. I am going to go ahead and lump all three credits into this small section. I liked both of these parks. While they are not amazing, we managed to have a good time for a few hours in the area. #286 Sea Serpent. Yet another kiddie credit, nothing too special. #285 Big Apple. The turntable is a really good idea for this coaster since they can load one train while the other one is running. Other than that it is a pretty standard Wacky Worm. #284 Cyclone. While it is historic it does beat you up quite a bit. I am thankful that the coaster cars are very well padded. -

Sesame Place was the park the unofficially marked the beginning and the end of both the Behemoth Tour and the East Coast Tour. We spent about 4 hours in the park. While it is a nice park, it really is designed for families with children under the age of 10. #283 Vapor Trail. Its a pretty cool custom Vekoma Roller Skater themed to Super Grover. -

Onto the last park of the Behemoth tour, DelGrosso's. While I am working on this update I just happen to be eating some left over pasta with DelGrosso's sauce. Yes, you can buy it down here in Florida. The park manager was very frank with us in that the whole purpose of the park was to get people in and buy or eat pasta with the sauce....which we all did. Anyways, it was a nice little park with with a few credits and flats: #282 Wacky Worm. Yes, its just another Wacky Worm. #281 Crazy Mouse. It is just a standard spinning mouse, but I think it did spin a bit.
