  1. Those images of Tatsu are slightly different. This image isn't for the public, It's not for making money, so it's okay to just rip anything off the net and "edit" it. It's only to show people within the company who are involved to help them visualize the project. The Tatsu images, which are actually S:UF, would have to be their own images. If it wasn't all the same company, they'd have to purchase them.
  2. Yeah, they would. Or rather, design companies certainly do it. It's just being used to illustrate an idea to those concerned. It's a quick visual aid to help pitch the main concepts (A flying coaster, themed to a manta ray, with the main feature being the splash down and suggesting what sort of ground space they have to work with in terms of layout). There's nothing "cheap" about it. Why waste money when you don't have to?
  3. 1. What do you find most useful about the front page? - Imagery. I can find the article I was after quickly. 2. What do you find least useful about the front page? - The search function isn't brillient. If I'm searching the main site, why do I want links to stuff on the forums? 3. Is anything on the front page confusing? - No. 4. How far do you scroll down the front page looking for updates? - As far as I see new stuff. 5. How often do you look at the front page? - Often. 6. How often do you click on the "whatsnew" link? - Never. 7. What would you like to see added to the front page to make your visits to TPR better? - Can't think of anything. 8. Anything else you would like to mention? Like any thing else you would like to see us add/change/leave alone/etc? - No.
  4. Er, I'm totally lost. What complaint or H&S law could possibly cause a decision like this?
  5. The E stands for erly at Alton Towers doesn't it? When talking about annual pass holders and hotel guests privilidge to ride Air and Nemesis half an hour before the park opens. So, what's the s in ERS? I've always wondered that.
  6. I'm not a fan of Drayton's. I rode it on Sunday, and it was better than i remember it being in '05.. but still not great. The restraint strangeling is such a huge issue, but my biggest problem is the lfithill - i think this one thus looks a lot better. I like the general concept of the things, they need work though. EDIT: Hm, watching the video.. i wonder if the lateral g problem is resolved - doesn't look like it. EDIT 2: And the hangtime looks gay.
  7. This park actually looks so much bettter than my mental image made it out to be. What's the overall atmosphere like? Silver Bullet still looks appauling, though. It's colour scheme tops off the icing on the cake and it's location in the park seems really intrusive and ...out of place? It's worrying when a B&M visually ruins the skyline.
  8. I think you should ask your doctor for a detailed account of what could possibly trigger it on a ride so you have the knowledge behind you when you consider certain rides.
  9. I've only been on Vampire so i shant vote, but i do love the thing to death. Airtime on the back row over the second lift! LOL
  10. Screamin' Swing ftw! The rest can all die.
  11. No they don't. I should know, i spend more time watching it than i do riding it. If this was the case, i'd go on it more often because i'd know which seats to sit in... But it doesn't sit back in it's original positioning. It's crap.
  12. Dodonpa does 59mph per second. 0-107 in 1.8 seconds. Now, that's fast.
  13. I think i worked out HXLC to be like 44mph per second. But the park wouldn't blatently lie, would they? Could they? Tim, go ask your Intamin friend person.
