Now for my comments: -The area before the lift could be a little shorter or have something more to it (maybe a dip like found in scream at SFMM). -Some turns were taken a little to quickly -The overbanked turn was a little TOO overbanked. -You need to teach me how to make a coaster in 1 hour (my entry took me close to 15!)!

If it is not too much trouble, could I get feedback as to what I lost points on? This is to help me with future work.

If you take this advice just be sure you know exactly where you're going. You wouldn't be the first person to be running at the front of the pack, all of a suddenly realizing that you're all alone. If you don't know where to turn to get across that bridge you'll go right by it. A good idea if you do not want to get is to ask the person taking tickets in your line how to get there before the gates open. They may tell you. If not, simply ask for a map before they let people in and use that to figure out where you are going. Other than that, here are the directions: -Run Straight until you reach the area where the plaza turns 90 degrees to your right. -Run Diagonal at this section so that you pass by the store with k'nex coasters in the window (unless they changed the display...) -Run toward the sign at a cross-section -Run past it and to your left (it will turn about 80 degrees to your left) -Run until you run to the center of the bridge. -Go up the nearest stairs you see (or get in line, depending on how many people got there before you. I hope that SFMM gets these...it would really help on hot summer days.

If you want to get on X..get to the park 30-45 minutes early, and get in line at the gate. Once you're in...RUN LIKE YOU'RE MAD. At this point, your wait will probably be less than an hour (unless they havn't done test runs yet...). Other rides I would also recommend: Collossus Deja Vu Goliath and Scream Those 5 rides will be worth your time, and other rides would be fun as well. Also, if it is REALLY busy, a fastpass can be helpful (if you can justify spending an extra $15 for 4 rides).

Ok, I will be taking out my sound card and its drivers later tonight, and I will make sure to tell you the results. Again, I thank all of your for your tremendous help! EDIT: I was planning on taking out my soundcard, but I then realized that I did not have an extra metal place holder to fill the hole in the back of my tower. I did uninstall the phillips sound drivers (as the hardware no longer shows up), but I still crash with the same error when i try quicktime files. At this point I am searching my hard drives for the file that is causing the problem, and hope to delete that when it is found. EDIT 2: Please help...I was really stupid...and I accidently deleted my default sound driver (as, I found that this was the file that was causing problems). I now have no sound coming out of my speakers except for static and loud booming noises (when I take the plug out of its socket). Please help me regain sound capabilities and find a way to fix my restarting problem. EDIT 3: I now wish that I had my windows CD so that I could start fresh. My printer just stopped working as wel. I now get a "printer is offline" message, even though it is connected. EDIT 4: I just did a system restore, and now have everything that I had this morning. I do have sound and the use of a printer back. I will be trying the take out/put back in for sound option for my soundcard tomorrow night, as I have already had my excitement for the day.

I run a Windows XP home system with a 1.8 GHZ processor and 1 GB RAM. My computer crashes every time I try to view a quicktime movie, whether it is on my computer or streaming from the web. This problem has been occuring for approximately 5 months. So far, I have done the following to no avail: -Cleaned out my computer (dust) -Run countless spyware, adware, and virus scans -added new RAM (I used to have 512 MB) -Uninstalled and Reinstalled quicktime and Itunes (3 times) -Switched Firewalls (changed from Norton to Onecare beta) If anyone knows how I could fix my problem, I will be very greatful. Also, if you need anymore info in order to help me; feel free to ask. EDIT: To define crash...I mean a black screen followed by an automatic system reboot.

Well, some of it is my parents money...but I make sure to think of it as my money, even after they have decided to let me buy an item. It keeps me from making stupid decisions with money. The only reason why I was able to purchase a desktop or a clarinet is because it was a part present/needed for school thing. I do plan to start working though...and I might pay them back. And, I also do the whole research thing. IT DRIVES MY PARENTS INSANE! They think all I like to do is "shop", but I rarely buy...most of the time I merely research for when i will buy in the future.

You see..spending 2 grand or so on a laptop would not give me any amount of buyers remorse...as I know I would both get fun and productivity out of it for years. FOr me, I got buyers remorse (until I got it) when I purchased a new clarinet for 2.2 grand (yes, instruments are more expensive than your home computer). Its always the though of "could this money be spent in better ways" that gets you. You just have to know that this purchase will make some impact on your life.

Thanks for the update! It was great to see these parks (no matter how small some of them were). I really want to go to the Mount Olympus park now...
