  1. Could you please change mine to......... "To all who come to this happy place; welcome" Thanks....
  2. nemmy. You have some real negative reviews for some real good rides.. Spiderman is a fantasic ride and should not be missed J.P is also a fantasic ride and anyone who enjoyed the films will love the themeing and find it amazing Compared to the crap themed rides we get in the UK these rides are just great...... I guess everyone has their own opinions but I think you will be in the minority on the above
  3. didnt know chessington was that easy to get to... thanks nemesis im 5 mins drive from Thorpe so thats my field I knew chessington was close but didn't quite know how to get there by train Thanks
  4. Dont know about the Alton Towers thing and yes Chessington is a nice park even if it is more really a family/kiddie park these days.... I dont know how easy it is to get to chessington though from London.. It's a bit further out of london but yes it's possible.. you could try looking at the website... or sometimes www.thorpeparkguide.com has some usefull information on both parks
  5. yes Thorpe is best for thrills.... I take it you will be staying in central London if your doing the tourist thing... so i suggest you take the train from Waterloo Station to Staines and then from Staines you can catch the bus to Thorpe or catch a taxi... I would say the train is approx 5-10 pounds (as you will be traveling during peak time to get there for near opening) and im not sure on the bus price but if its not free it will be a couple of pounds... a taxi i guess would be 10pounds appox. The train journey is appox 30-45mins and the bus/taxi would be another 10mins transit time. Hope that helps
  6. Hey R&E did you think about flying straight to BRU rather than CDG United fly there via Washington.. might save you a longish drive after a long flight you could still fly home from CDG
