Carowinds has room to expand. They can reclaim a large portion of the parking lot. Parts of it are rarely used. (They did this for Intimidator.) Also, They will have Dinos Alive area, RRR area to expand once those areas are cleared. On top of that they have purchased land around the park recently so I am not quite sure what you are so freaked out about. They will continue adding new rides. They only rides I could forsee going in the near future are Vortex, PVZ, YOYO, and possibly Nighthawk. The GP love Nighthawk so that one is less likely.

I agree with you. I wish more Chance rollercoaster were being made because Lightning Run seems to be awesome, compact/small, and packs a punch that some huge coasters do not even get close to.

I have been wanting to come to this park for so long. With this new coaster I might just have to come in 2020. Does anyone have good info on slow days at Magic Mountain? Is springtime the best time to come?

I think the whole "New France" section is a bit bizarre as well. As for Griffon I am with the others who think it looks fantastic where it is. I do however think Alpengeist has the best placement as it has a lot of hidden areas you can't see from walking around the park. With all that said this is still one of my favorite parks. I think Busch knows what they are doing and hey if they get a 300ft+ coaster I don't think it will stop people from coming. I know I will be there day one!

Great photos! Looking forward to the future of this park. They have really up'ed the thrill factor in the last few years. I think this park could really benefit from a great woodie or RMC. It also would be great to see a few more stand out flats.

Thanks for the information. I haven't been here in a few years and don't want to spend the extra money on flash pass if it isn't needed. With that said, I am looking forward to riding Pandomonium and Twisted Cyclone as I haven't ridden either of those. After riding Lightning Rod at Dollywood this summer I cant wait to try another RMC!

Has the official height of the coaster been announced?

I am definitely looking forward to this new addition! Busch is going to have a great lineup with this addition.

Hey everyone..Long time watcher. Finally registered and looking forward to joining the discussion. I am planning on going to Six Flags Over Georgia on Sunday Sept 29th. Does anyone have a gauge on how lines might be that day, or just sundays in September in general?
