  1. Oh yes, great movie. I actually prefer this over Rear Window, but just barely. Both would share spots on my top 20 list on YMDB.
  2. 12 Monkeys is definitely a good film, though, I think I'd go with a rating of 8/10. Not one of the greatest of the 90's, though, IMO. I mean, off the top of my head, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Fargo, Goodfellas, are some that come to mind as greatest from the 90's. Nevertheless, I'd definitely recommend 12 Monkeys. I really have been wanting to see Brazil, though, but haven't been able to get my hands on a copy at any of the local videostores...
  3. Well, as far as steel goes, I'd say Batman: The Ride is the best one I've rode firsthand. Great track, one of the top B&M inverts, definitely the most intense (alongside Dueling Dragons). I could ride B:TR all day, or at least as long as my head could take it. Best SF woodie I've ridden (and overall SF coaster) is the Boss. Viper is a great ride, also, but it's not such an original track as Boss. Raging Bull is a "nice" ride, too, with some great visuals in the front, and some great great air in the back on the drop, but the rest can be somewhat tame. Still some air, and the helices at the end can be intense if not trimmed, but the trims usually are slowing the train down too much to really get you out of your seat in smashed into it on the fast turns. Too bad, really.
  4. Sounds good Deja Vu the ride....I'm going to be making a trip up to SFGAm in a couple of weeks...but, in your opinion, is it worth it to ride Rajun' Cajun' if lines are long on all of the rides...because, if it's a bad coaster, I think I'd rather wait for Viper, B:TR, or Raging Bull. I'm really content to just cycle between those three all day, B:TR and Viper especially.
  5. Nah...can I get "I hold No Quarter"
  6. Top of the list: Frances the Mute - The Mars Volta -- Amazing album, great band...and will be seeing them in Chicago tomorrow night. The Killers album is quite good, also, and the Decemberists have a unique pop sound; some good songs on that album. I've also just picked up the new Dave Matthews Band album, Stand Up, and though it may be their worst album, still has a lot of good songs, and shows is definitely much different from any of their other music. What I'm really awaiting is the new White Stripes album, Get Behind Me Satan...great raw sound, they have.
  7. Err, Star Wars: Episode II...bad acting, atrocious script, video-game special effects...not good. Definitely not one of the worst, but it is what came to mind.
  8. Well, I've been planning on making the 2 1/2 hr drive to the Dells with some friends for a while now, and after hearing how great Avalanche is supposed to be, and this favorable review of Hades, I'll be sure to make it up to WI at least once.
  9. Err, Cornball Express.....last June. Amazing ride...definitely hoping to get back out there a couple times this year.
