I just read from Los Angeles daily news that the media event will be at 11am tomorrow, with the ride opening to the public afterwards.

Pass previews were Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Media day is Thursday I believe with the grand opening on Friday. Curious since this ride has such an outstanding light package if they are doing the media event at night?

Yes, there's blue, orange, purple, and green. The purple one has been gone for about a year now.

Was the 3rd train on the storage tracks? Purple train has been gone for a while, they might be getting to switch out another train for refurbishing

I wonder how soon they're gonna start actual construction in that area? Are they gonna move aftermath to a different place for fright fest?

When I was there earlier the area wasnt offically blocked off yet, but apocalypse is listed on the app as closed instead of "temporarily closed."

Isn't the exit path and queue switchbacks separated by a metal fence? Or is it short enough to climb over? That's the one! It seriously pissed me off that I paid $10 to upgrade my membership (my monthly charge just went through a couple days ago) and people who probably don't even have membership we're getting on the ride!

So they're sticking with the gold plus and up on Crazanity today (kinda) I tried to go on with my gold and they wouldn't let me, so I went and upgraded. So I'm standing in line, and the ops aren't even paying attention to the exit, so people are just walking up through the exit and getting in line without getting their passes checked. That's some bull! Other than that I've been on 5 times already and I'm gonna a go a couple more before I leave. Seriously outstanding ride!

Just got a text from my boss telling me that work was slow and to take the day off,so I'll be at the park around 3 if anyone wants to say hi. I'll be wearing a blue tank

Just heard from a friend at the park that the place is so empty because of the heat that there are not enough members for the members only preview of Crazanity, so they may just open it to the GP today!

It was pretty dead yesterday. I noticed that a lot of the coasters were malfunctioning in the heat though. Gonna be another 110 plus degree day today

With how amazing this thing runs I can see them doing a soft opening to the GP on Tuesday!

Couldn't of said it better myself. I waited by the ride for the last two hours before park closing just because I saw the promo actors leaving and I just had a feeling. Sure enough, 8:45 comes around and a woman named Debbie told those of us standing near the ride that they needed more footage and were gonna allow a limited number of the general public on at park close. My feeling paid off! It's in my top 5 now as well! If it's not over 100 degrees again Monday I will definitely be back for the pass holder preview to ride it several more times!

I just got done riding twice! Seriously AMAZING! I don't know if I'm gonna able to sleep tonight!

Holy crap! Just got word they are allowing some GP on Crazanity after park closing!

Just spotted a somewhat close fire from full throttle. It's pretty windy too. Will post if park is evacuated.

Just got here. So far the lines aren't that bad and the heat is bearable!

Does anyone know of there is a way to upgrade my membership online? I mind as well get the diamond since I go so often.

Just got the newsletter email, membership preview for Crazanity is the 7th, 8th and 9th, but only for Gold plus and up. I've been a gold member for over 2 years now, so does that mean I can just go screw myself?

That must of been right after the fireworks show! Did you get the ERT? I didn't get it cause I have a dining pass and didn't want to spend money on food! By the way, does anyone have an official closing date for Apocalypse/Cyclone bay? Rode it yesterday and it's gotten rougher in just these last couple weeks alone! Also, is there gonna be a pass holder preview for Crazanity? I saw them adding some landscaping and the frame for the entrance sign yesterday, and no water dummies in sight so it seems like a couple more days and it'll be good to go!

So my first visit to hurricane harbor was pretty fun! Except my fatass got stuck on one of the slides! ( The one next to the trap door one.) Back at Magic Mountain and crowds really aren't that bad. Just watched Kwerk, which was fantastic! Now I'm gonna wait around for the fireworks!

So I'm at the park today. Brought my swim trunks and sandals so I can check out hurricane harbor for the first time. Never been to a water park to be honest. Any recommendations for my first slide?

Any idea how bad crowds are gonna be today? Its my one day off this week and I need my adrenaline fix!

Looks like they finally fixed whatever was wrong with revolution. Saw some pictures of it testing today on Instagram!
