Don't know what was going on that night but when I went : -RoS, Boomerang, Predator, and Motocoaster (which without lights was SUPER AMAZING) didn't run with lights on. -Rolling Thunder had lights on, and they would sometimes flash rapidly (epileptics be warned) and if you looked at it you saw several circles which was cool. -The scare actors were VERY devoted, ex: the ring masters with their canes would follow my friends and I and tap their cane like a heartbeat, then screamed at us. -Viper had no lights??? Other than the camera, don't know if that's what you meant because they did move the camera from the 2nd corkscrew to before the tunnel.

Went to Fright Fest tonight, and... Pirate was open!!!!

^ Valid point, but like a car, it gets old and unreliable, so you might as well get a new one.

Also another thing not advertised is that they have some special food! Examples being cider slushies, hot cider, spooky fried dough (spider web outline made with chocolate and marshmallows), walking dead nachos, and devil (super spicy) fries!

Huh, I could get on RoS over and over, don't know what time you waited for it. It was amazing in the pitch black and the wind chill haha.

Got back from Fright Fest, and wow it was pretty fun. Jungle Apocalypse is the dullest out of the 3 haunted houses, didn't do Hotel Terror, and Camp Scumshine was the scariest. There was a plague doctor that I made eye contact with walking to RoS, and he stopped, turned around and started following me, then I turned to my right and he screamed, he really targeted me, walking back from RoS, LEAVING THE PARK (Oh yeah, at the end of the day they all leave their specific areas and scare everyone at the exit). I bought a fear pass so I get unlimited haunted houses so I'll be returning haha.

^ DId they enclose the bumper cars and make it like a Rage in the Cage ride (like at SFNE)?

^ Right, also they only have gold plus memberships for sale so of course the workers will be a little clueless on the higher membership levels, even if they do have the cheat sheet near them.

Is anyone else getting errors when logging into the membership page?

^ Ah, okay. So I guess for now the only way is by visiting the park or buying items. But I'm most likely going to another Six Flags park Columbus Day weekend, so I can check into rides and etc then.

Since Darien Lake isn't on the Six Flags app (cause you need it to check into rides and shows to earn points), how will I be able to earn reward points for my membership?

^ So there's no season pass/membership holders deal like the other SF parks where you can pay on price to do the three all month long?

^ Not far out of Grand Rapids there's a SUPER good pizza place called Vitale's, amazing food and they have a bar, my brother moved to there a few years ago near Grand Rapids and his wife's parents own it. (:

How much will the haunted houses be for Fright Fest?

This is how it was at SFOT this year. You just processed and received the card at the turnstile. The card does look and feel REALLY cheap, but I guess that's just how Six Flags is doing it now? I'm guessing it is saving them on staffing cost by not having to staff the Season Pass buildings? I got my gold plus membership card last week and it doesn't feel cheap to me, but I don't know, at least it looks pretty cool.

^ The only thing I can think of that it would be similar to is Cornstalkers at various Cedar Fair parks, it's not an indoor haunted house, but rather a haunted maze. They put down new concrete, and now there's a little illusion shed front that says Camp Scumshine (sunshine but sun is crossed out I think haha).

What I've heard from a couple people. - Hotel Terror will be beyond ROS, where the old haunts used to be. - Jungle Apocalypse is going in the picnic shelter area, there will also be a scarezone down there as well. - The other scarezones will be back by Twister, in between Tantrum and Mind Eraser, and the path between Predator and Boomerang. - All the coasters will be operating, in addition to Rolling Thunder, Giant Wheel, Haymaker, Lasso, Sleighride, Twister, Tin Lizzys and Rodeo Round Up. So are they constructing a new building for Hotel Terror? Also, how large in scale are the other two haunt mazes going to be? (On a side note, that was really awkward how there was an entire discussion on the Darien Lake thread about what counts as a Theme park. Just look it up instead of spamming this thread) No, when going into Viper's queue there was a worker constructing Camp Scumshine (under Viper where the mini golf was), and he said that there will be a haunted house in the Galaxy Theater, obviously under Viper, and in the picnic areas.

The go-karts were open today when I was walking by them, RoS got stuck when entering the station AND Tantrum got stuck on the lift (both were up by the end of the day), got my Gold Plus membership today, and the member entrance is pretty cool. (:

Seems like it's an okay addition, I'd prefer a floorless than a stand-up, so I think it's good. Also, on Instagram I found someone comment on SFAs Firebird post, and I quote, "It's gonna be a copy of Superman from Fiesta Texas." (They use a little snip of SKC's POV in the video haha)

Awesome addition! Also, anyone who has a 2018 season pass to Darien Lake can get free upgrades to a Gold pass right now! Wonder where this ride is gonna go. I'll have to scope out construction (if they've started yet) next time I go.

^ But for real, there were crazy storms in Michigan lately, I went for a trip there a couple days ago and the power went out where I was staying overnight.
