I don't recall that ever happening. They just rolled over to next year without a break. And I thought '19 passes were already being offered. (Back in August there was a presale mentioned in an email) I've bought in Oct many times. Just guessing, but i'd expect them to be back up before the 10th when park reopens for Christmas. (maybe a glitch with the new site updates) But I'd recommend you call and ask. Explain you're planning a trip and wanted to buy a pass for it. -
Was at the park last night. Surprisingly light crowds. Most coasters were walk-on. Only Batman and DDD had much of a line and that was late, after 8. The performers were not out like they were back in late Sep either. Lots of closed food stalls as well. I know it was Tue, but expected it to be busier the night be fore Halloween. It was nice not having to wait much and rode all coasters except Scorcher. Could gave done a lot more but we just took out time and looked around the shops a lot. Longest wait was for funnel cake up front (only one open) at 9:00.

LR and MM didn't open with park today. Maybe the rain. Saw LR launch just after 10:30 but app still says TC. Waiting for rain to clear out before walking over. -
Didn't realize it had not been mentioned. It was running the last Sat in Sep. I was checking this topic every weekend waiting on someone to announce that it was back open and no one said a word. Sorry. I don't check it often. With the last-minute nature (got an email while out of the country that I had to go activate that pass as sion as I git back.) I wasn't there long and didn't even think about posting.

Bummer. No intake, no bumper. Tiny wheels, ... Oh well it's running again. I'm supposed to be there next weekend (20th) -

Probably means an option the app developer included that DW cam set on the server not a per user choice. -

I do wish DW (or better HFE) would offer a seal like SF just had, $55 for season pass valid at all SF theme parks. A deal like that for all HFE parks would be great. Or even make the current priced pass valid at all parks. I don't know that much cheaper daily tickets would help much. But I don't think it'd hurt. But the season pass has crept up a lot in the last 5 years with little added benefit. They even cut the parking discount for preferred /valet. -

Mountain Slidewinder has also been removed from the list of rides and attractions on dollywood.com! It's still listed in the app, but may not have been updated yet. Would hate to see it go. -

The 3D views of the coasters are nice. Lots of detail you can't easily see on LR. -
FWIW, I only paid $5 and moved the rental around all day. Strange how different the parks are about stuff. SFNE I just set stuff on the platform/in bins all day (phone, battery pack, vape, shades, etc.) Same a few years back at SFoT. At least Universal offers free storage whee they don't allow stuff.

It was certainly summer in the south. I've done Dollywood on similar days but they have fans and misters all over. Not to mention shade and seldom lines like that. (Missed DW food too. I could sit down in AC for all you want buffet. And do it faster than getting a burger at SF) $45 x2. She got in free (on my pass), we spit the daily meal just to control costs. Another $100 wasn't doable. Couldn't count on the lax checking to get 2 in on one FP. But without the effective single rider options FP is looking like a must to do much. Hope to go back in the fall/spring and find lighter crowd.

Park was busy yesterday. But ride ops seemed really slow. For that matter everything seemed slow. Granted I haven't been to SFoG in 30 years, but compared to other places I have been it felt really slow. Debating a second pass and dining now. If yesterday is indicative if normal ops, I'm far less likely to make the 3hr drive often. That said, really enjoyed Twisted Cyclone and Goliath. Superman really needs some maintenance on the restraints which slowed loading/unloading to a crawl. I also wish they'd bring back the faster access for single riders. Some times you can use fast line, but not consistent. I seldom ever saw the single rider queue in use. A few years back at SFoT it was much easier to access and was used. Sucks waiting for an hour+ watching so many empty seats go by.
