  1. ^ Cleaning something at SFA would probably have to be done defiantly though...
  2. ^ Except MTV shows most of what 17 year olds do at parks anyway.
  3. Are you sure they aren't just hosing off the dirt?
  4. Looks fantastic!!! And what a weird way to rig up a POV camera.
  5. - A reality show about furries. - A reality show about bronies. - A reality show about furries and bronies. - Another Kardashian show.
  6. ...It is? Oh, ok. I guess I'll have to take your word for it. I can't tell at all what's going on here.
  7. http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/mtv-developing-theme-park-drama/ Not a lot of info, but something to watch out for. Maybe it'll be like "Adventureland"?
  8. They are going to sell it to Darien Lake.
  9. Anecdotally, most likely demand for large hyper coasters eclipsed the number manufacturers who were building them at that time (Morgan and B&M). Second tier Six Flags parks were the first to get the Intamin hypers (Darien Lake, New England, America) , so it's probable Intamin was offering an attractive price for such a large ride. As for Millennium Force, Intamin probably offered the best deal to build a 300 foot tall ride. And it turned out far better than Morgan's attempt with Steel Dragon.
  10. It definitely looks great, and probably raises the bar for standard local amusement parks...but competing with something like Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, IoA etc...there's PLENTY of better entrance areas.
  11. I don't even have the power to mock this right. Seriously??
  12. ^ I think Vekoma is doing a good job with mine trains lately..
  13. Um that 5.5 million viewers figure is IN ENGLAND. BBC America had 1.6 million viewers http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/09/05/doctor-who-ratings/ To put that in perspective, a rerun of Family Guy on Adult Swim nets 2.5-3 million viewers nightly.
  14. Wow, that's quite a prediction. I wonder what they might tell us at WCB... Gonna take a guess and say they're going to turn it into a continuous circuit racer so the total tracklength (4300 something per each side right now I think...so combined would be 8600 feet) would eclipse Steel Dragon.
  15. The show does have a massive following here in the States. No it doesn't. Small but vocal maybe.
  16. Haha did they really mention a Dr Who attraction? I can imagine the Six Flags executives conversation. "Harry Potter at Universal is popular. The character is also from England." "We need a British thing, that will be popular too!" .....
  17. My worst grey out was on that upward helix on Italian Job...hate that thing!
  18. The more this ride gets built out, the less I understand it.
  19. Would probably just get mixed in with the duck/bird poop and any other gross stuff that's in ponds normally. Yum!
  20. Especially considering where its built.
