I was on the Vodka/Cran drinks for a little while. It didn't help with the Intamin Diet. I hope it works for you. -

^It looked like Joey was giddy around the Blonde Boobs of Death, but definately scared on that boat. I believe I would have the same look on that boat ride. It looks like you guys are having a blast. I am just wondering how many views you think this topic will get. You're more than halfway there and you are nearing 60,000 views. I believe this will get over 120,000 views. Posts might get over 800 at this rate also. I know how much you like stats, Robb. -

Nice report guys. Wally, look forward to meeting you soon..... -
^We ran into the problem of season passes last year. We had a Cedar Point season pass and Geauga Lake wouldn't take it. On both websites, it states that you can "add on" Geauga Lake, or Cedar Point (if getting a GL season pass) for a certain price. We have a Cedar Point season pass and bought a one day ticket, around $25 to GL. It isn't that bad and we didn't plan on going to GL more than one day anyway. If you had a Knotts, Dorney Park, or any other Cedar Fair park's season pass, you can get into both parks.

The only other thing I would suggest is Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon, but that will add more driving time. It is a park that can be done in a couple of hours and, depending on what time your plane lands in Detroit, it might be doable. Like you said before, nothing is written in stone, or even in pencil. Have a look at all the options. Cedar Point is such a blast!

I would recommend the same thing that Ted is. It is better to stay on-site at Cedar Point. Breakers Express would probably be the best at that time of year. I wouldn't go to Cedar Point on Saturday. Even on Geauga Lake's worst day, it has to be better than a Cedar Point Saturday. Gyendolynne and I stayed at the Bertram Inn this year and last year we stayed at Geauga Lake Hotel. Both hotels are nice, but they are a little pricey. Check their rates. There is a putt-putt golf inside of Geauga Lake Hotel that might keep the kids attention along with video games, etc. Geauga Lake Hotel also offers breakfast, Bertram Inn is a little extra to get breakfast included with the room. The extra things to do would be Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. Even though we were dissappointed by it, it might be something to see. Tickets were $20 for adults, I don't know what the price is for kids. There is also a science museum next door. Check for a flight into Detroit also instead of Cleveland. It might be cheaper and it is just a little bit of a drive. Good luck!

Vintage Mustang Owners Association (VMOA) holds a car show every year for Mustang owners. This year's show was on 6/18/05. The first one that I entered was in 1990. I have had my Mustang (1967 Fastback) ever since I was 16. It was my high school and college car. I put it on the “shelf” in 1990 and it hasn’t been driven that much ever since. Having my Mustang all these years has made me happy. My dad and I re-built it back in 1985. He started entering his car, a 1968 convertible Mustang, in 1991 after I left. He won best-in-show 3 years in a row! I am only mentioning this because you will see pictures of his car below too. As for the car show, I didn’t win, or place. It was a fun day, though. We spent some time with my parents and saw some amazing cars! The rain stayed away, except for a few sprinkles. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Rick Damn you Intamin! An inch of slack or I can't drive my car...WTF. Just kidding. Time to Leave. This is a Boss 302 that won in his class. This is the Fastback that beat me. It is a 1968. It did look awesome. I put this pic in for you Wally! It is a Cobra kit. His Shirt says: This is your brain FORD, This is your brain on drugs, Chevy Kid Working on Car. We thought this was cool More Convertibles Convertibles, Early in the show Dad's Engine Compartment Dad's Mustang, Back Dad's Mustang My Engine compartment The back of My Mustang My Mustang after we arrived around 8am

Hershey/Dorney or BGW/PKD?
Coaster Palooza replied to Justin Adams's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My suggestion would be Dorney and Hershey. My reasoning is the fact that it's labor day weekend and the parks will probably be crowded. Dorney isn't usually crowded. You should have a good day there. Hershey is run very well. We went to Hershey last year and there was a person in line stating that this was the busiest she has ever seen the park. It was a Saturday in June. We were still able to ride all the rides, including Storm Runner. I have been to PKD and BGW. They both get very crowded and it might be frustrating to not get on all the rides. The only saving grace would be the beers at BGW with Wally. That's what I would do with the weekend in question. -

Glad to see you guys made it. Have a safe trip. We're looking forward to your updates. -
One of the guys at work was watching it. I asked him to send the link to me, but it was a file instead. I asked Robb to post it because it made all of us laugh so loud here. Thanks Robb for posting it. I am glad all enjoyed.
