^^^My ankle hurt so bad. I could hardly walk that night. I needed help off the field because I couldn't put any pressure on it. I iced it that night, with the help from Gyendolynne, and the next day the swelling was down! I also had a few "locals" (maybe a six pack) the night before to help take the pain away. -

Sacramento Trip. In the mall, Gyendolynne trying on some new shades. Here are the "good riddance" flowers. That was what the other bartender told me they were called. Group hug, we'll miss you, now get out... This was the bartender's last day. They were throwing her some good wishes. I was pleased too, and I didn't have anything to drink yet! Happy to be here! Random inside photo Hard Rock Cafe. We made it! -
Sorry I haven’t written anything or responded to too many posts for a while. The winter has been a little busy for me. A few weeks back I was stepped on while officiating a high school football game and I have a deep bone bruise on my ankle. The trainer thought it might have been broken, but it wasn’t. Gyendolynne was in a car accident at the end of October. Someone rear-ended her. She is okay, but she is going to the chiropractor for her back. Hopefully she’ll have a full recovery. I have been reading the boards when I get a chance and I thought I would put in a little trip report for the past couple weekends. Last weekend I was scheduled for a High School CCS semi-final football game between Los Gatos and St. Ignatius (SI). My position was headlines, so I would be with the chains and on SI’s sideline all night. Gyendolynne went to the game and took a ton of pictures. It was an exciting game, for me anyway. There wasn’t any scoring, but it was intense on the field all night. The final score was 3-0, Los Gatos won. SI missed a field goal in the first half and Los Gatos made their field goal in the second half. That was basically the game, but you could feel the tension all night with no one wanting to make a mistake. We decided to go to Hard Rock Café in Sacramento a couple weeks ago. Gyendolynne and I collect little things from all the Hard Rocks that we have been to. The trip was just a Saturday trip, up and back. We shopped little bit in the mall there too. I also worked a first round CCS game. The game I had was Bellarmine v. Valley Christian. They are two very strong teams, but Valley is definitely incredible this year. This weekend we are going to San Diego and next weekend we’re headed to Las Vegas. January we’ll be in Orlando for a few days, then hopefully a little down time. Kneeling on the ball to end the game. They held the ball for the last 4 minutes of the game! and it is a first down The measurement Here's the play 4th down for Los Gatos. If they make the first, they can run out the clock. Waving my chains over Hard to read, but the score is 3-0 Here is a better picture of Tonelli. His son plays for SI Spotting the ball Getting back into position The guy with the shaved head is Paul Tonelli. He work with Lamont on 107.7 the bone. First down. Coming back from halftime. I am looking for the ball boy to give him the football SI didn't make it on 4th down and Los Gatos didn't score either. Halftime. The scoreboard is telling us the same thing. Now it is 4th and 3 from their 20. SI has the ball, 1st and 10 from their 13 yard line. The score near the end of the first half. A little discussion. First play of the game. Kick-off position. Getting ready for the game. The chain gang. Friday night's crew. There was a comment made that I am so young. Here's a better shot of it. Gyendolynne's car. She was hit so hard that it bent the trailer hitch back into the spare tire! It ain't Wally's finger falling off, but it hurt pretty bad Just another view With 6 minutes to go in the game, this happens! Everything started out fine

Killer whale born at SeaWorld Orlando!
Coaster Palooza replied to nyanko's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That is really great news! My wife and I are coming out in January. We will be going to Sea World on 1/6, our first day out there. Maybe we'll see you. -
Great TR Wally! We love going to Tahoe too. I am glad you got to see some snow. When we go, I always look forward to the snow. I don't want to live where it snows though. Living in California is great! You can go to snow and then to the beach all in the same day....if you're lucky. Last week Gyendolynne said it was 85 degrees in Santa Cruz where she works.

Nice job! Way to go Robb on the jackpot! My hands started sweating when I saw X-Scream and Insanity. I haven't ridden Insanity, but X-Scream freaked me out pretty good the last time we were there. Enjoy the rest of your time out there. Looking forward to more pics! -
Our insurance for the 2 of us for 2 cars is around $135/month. I believe it is somewhere around $1600/year.

Brian is the PA person. He also does San Jose Giants games. Did you start in 2002, or 2003? -
I am so angry with insurance companies right now. Gyendolynne was in an accident and their insurance company said they would handle all the repairs, but now there is a $200 part that they want BENT back into position! I don't know if it is a good idea to be bending metal on a car part when it isn't that expensive to replace it. They authorize a certain amount of time to bend it, but it is taking longer. I say replace the F&%#ing thing!

Nice Trip Report. I am thinking about going to next week's game. SJSU is favored again, maybe 2 in a row? Do you announce baseball games too? If so how long have you been announcing? I know Brian that announces some of the games. -

Great pictures Wally! Looks like a nice relaxing day. So much time to kill when you're getting serviced... We are planning on coming up to Sacramento tomorrow to spend some time around downtown. Don't know exactly what we're going to do, but we will definately hit the Hard Rock Cafe. -

A Day In The Life Of YOUR TPR Visit!
Coaster Palooza replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
- What board do you read first? Theme Parks, Donkeys, etc., next is Random, then Ask Alvey. I rarely go anywhere else. - How often do you visit? Every day, once a week, NEVER! Too much!!! - How many pages through each board do you read? (meaning do you read just the first page of topics or multiple pages?) First page usually - Are there certain types of posts you read more than others? I like to read Photo TRs and then read about other experiences in parks that I have and haven't attended. I will also read some threads in Random because it is usually.....Random! - Do you do anything else besides reading the forum (chat room, profile, searching, main site photos, etc) I have gone in the chat room, search, profiles (in order to PM someone), and main site photos. - Tell us anything else you want about your TPR visits! It helps to break up my day! -
