  1. I'd recommend The Cook's Cliff Faces. http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=525139 I haven't used this pack myself, but I think that would be the best thing for what you are looking for. Good luck!
  2. I agree with the others and I think you underestimated yourself. What I did notice though is that you haven't used any custom scenery. Do you know how to download and use it? It could make your park look much more realistic and detailed.
  3. If by "personalized" you mean making your own custom coaster, it looks like you already got that figured out. If by "personalized" you mean the custom scenery found on various web sites, I'd reccomend the sticky topic for this forum for all RCT3 Scenery Packs. All you do is follow the links, unzip the files to the style/themed folder and it will be there the next time you load up your game. It may take a couple of times to get it 100% right but you'll get the hang of it. If you have any additional questions, feel free to drop me a PM either here or on the Atari community... it's where I spend most of my time. Good luck!
  4. Being a former So Cal resident, I've been to SFMM many, many times. This is by far and away some of the best looking re-creations of their rides I've ever seen! Superman looks great both inside and out. Viper looks good and "X" looks fantasic! Can we see some of your buildings? The first few pics I saw didn't really look all that detailed or realistic but your ride making skills are off the hook!
  5. The reason it's not working for you is becuase... YOU AREN'T FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS! You guys need to look more carefully. When you extract all the zipped files, look at the "read me" file that comes with the set. It will give you step-by-step instructions on what files go where. Hope that helps.
  6. Some of the best rocks you can use are under Marnetmar's Leftovers. There are several different sizes and shapes plus they all have collision detection turned off so you can place them anywhere. P.S. I agree, you need to browse a bit more to find what you want.
  7. RCT Gold patch worked, thanks for all the help. It's nice to be able to play my parks at night now without all the slow-downs!
  8. No, I've been trying to use the patch install for Wild. I'll give the gold a try then see if the Wild works. Thanks for the suggestion.
  9. You are correct, my bad.... that still doesn't help me. Anybody else?
  10. I've tried to install the patches for RCT3 but every time I try to run the installs, it tells me that it can't find RCT3! The only thing I can think of is that when I bought RCT3 and Wild! I bought them together on one CD (RCT3 Gold). Can anybody help me?
  11. You so do not need a trainer. As mentioned before, the sandbox mode gives you unlimited finances with all rides, shops and scenery. Also, if you are trying to get a little help in the scenarios, I've found the 'ol re-naming peeps trick works very well. Check these out... Frontier ~ All rides and coasters never break down Guido Fawkes ~ Gives access to the advanced fireworks editor Atari ~ All guests laugh Chris Sawyer ~ Guests jump for joy Sam Denney ~ Peeps ride all coasters John Wardley ~ Removes height restrictions when building coasters Jon Roach ~ Peeps ride all non-coaster rides Andrew Thomas ~ Decreases track friction David Braben ~ Unlimited launch and chain lift speeds Jonny Watts ~ Peep cam, see through eyes of guest Andrew Gillett ~ Increase park value Mouse ~ Guests stand around looking down at the ground D Lean ~ Flying Camera path editor ATITech ~ Peeps move fast for 20 seconds Make Me Sick ~ All guests get sick Sam Denney ~ All guests ride every coaster before leaving Atomic ~ Big explosion PhotoStory ~ Peeps take photos A Hitchcock ~ Ducks appear John D Rockefeller ~ Add money Hope this helps. Happy gaming!
  12. I don't need to post a pic... that's me on the left! Muahhh ahhh ahhhhhhh! Of course I don't always look like that... only on my good days (hee hee hee)
  13. Thanks for the confirmation... good to know. J.
  14. Hey everybody, Is anybody else having issues viewing images on the forum? I'm trying to view some updates in the RollerCoaster Games section and most of them are not showing up. I've never had problems before. I'm wondering if there is a temporary problem with the server or if it's my company's firewall being an ass. Any help here would be hot! J.
  15. Not quite the answers I was looking for... but thanks for the replies none-the-less. Grrrrr... stupid Six Flags!
  16. My girlfriend and I are driving to SFMM from the S.F. Bay Area this Friday. I see from some of the updates that "X" was closed, but is this only temporary or will it be down for a while because of the construction? We're hoping to ride it when we visit the park this Saturday. I would appreciate any info here. Thanks!
  17. That will be a good thing! It's too bad for me though, I really would like to meet you guys some day.
  18. Good to know... thanks for the update dude!
  19. My girlfriend and I are going to be at SFMM on Saturday 10/22 for Fright Fest. I was wondering if anybody that frequently visits this site will be there that day? Rob, Elisa, will you guys be there? Holla' back people! P.S. Need more donkeys on the site please.
  20. Thanks for all the great feedback... from everybody!
  21. Hey Robb! I'm in the market for a video camera and was curious to know what kind you use to record all of your videos? Do you still like it? If not, anything you can recommend for a reasonable price? Any help here would be greatly appreciated. J.
