  1. There are so many things wrong with this post that I don't even want to list them. I am 100% sure this will be deleted.
  2. Thunderhawk ar Dorney Park sitting in the right seat. All it did was rattle my hands and toss me into the side of the car!
  3. Vanilla. Did you know that vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor in the country?
  4. What theme park, amusement park, or roller coaster books are updated to at least 2002 and are good? I already know of: The Roller Coaster's Companian Pennsylvania Amusement Parks Walt Disney World and Orlando for Dummies Fodors Central Florida Guide
  5. I never said I didn't. I just didn't think this would be so confusing.
  6. This is a very confusing thread. But really, when does a "glide" become a drop?
  7. Last night, my mom booked our vacation! I'm so excited! But the reason I posted this thread, is because even though we have been to each park 6 or 7 times, maybe there are things we didn't know about. I know that many of you have been there way more times. So, I will now ask the questions: Is Todd English's Bluezoo a good restaurant? Is Le Cellier a good restaurant? Anything about Hulk since I'm always too scared to ride it. But this time, I told my dad to force me on if I don't want to ride. Also rate this ride however you want (on a scale of 1-10, F-A+, etc.). Anything interesting that I might not know. Thanks in advance!
  8. I mean longest as in time. I should have been more specific.
  9. What coaster has the longest drop? By longest I don't mean height. I mean how long it takes to get down the drop. For example, in this topic a ride with an 100ft drop could have a 'longer' drop than a ride with a 150ft drop.
  10. Not anybody in line, but a kid in my class thinks that IOA is brand new and USF opened in 2000.
  11. They probably have evil plans to shut down Kingda Ka... FOREVER! THAT IS WHY THEY KEPT THAT SIGN UP! On a better note, that Maxair ride looks HUGE! Is it really that big, or does it just look that way?
  12. I don't go on freefalls. There are probably more flats that I forgot though.
  13. This is my first TR, so make any corrections you'd like: Overall I had a great day. Almost all the rides were a walk on, and we even walked right on Hydra, front row. I will rate the rides on a scale of 1-10. I may grade some flats higher than some coasters even though I liked the coasters better, because they are not the same thing so I grade them differently. Hydra: The Revenge - 10 I love this ride. It is was my favorite ride at Dorney Park, and it is tied with Dueling Dragons Fire for my favorite roller coaster. I really thought I was going to fall out during the jo-jo roll! During most of the inversions I came out of my seat up against the restraint, too! Talon: The Grip of Fear - 9 This was a good invert, but not as good as Dueling Dragons Fire. I love the types of inversions on this ride. Better than Great Bear and tied with Dueling Dragons Ice. Laser - 7 The ride may not be that big, but at some parts of this ride, I couldn't even move my legs. But, be warned, this ride is SHORT! If it was longer, it probably would have gotten a 9. Thunderhawk - 8 sitting on the left, 3 sitting on the right The first time I rode this I sat on the right and it just kept throwing me into the side of the seat. On the left, however, it was a good woodie with some good drops and airtime. Steel Force - N/A I chickened out on Steel Force, but my dad, brother, friend, and brother's friend all loved it. We ate at the Game Day Grille. I got a BBQ pulled pork. The pulled pork was good but the burgers there were so black that I could have sworn they were cooked twice the amount of time they should have been. The Flats: Revolution - 9 This was my favorite flat. The first time I was like, "Hey, this isn't that bad." Then, as we started going higher, I was screaming every time we went down. I NEVER scream on rides, unless I'm saying something like "Whoohoo" or "This is awesome!". Monster - 7 I don't remember much of this ride, except that it was fun. Apollo 2000 - 6 Again, don't remember much of this ride. Musik Express - 7 I got the good seat, and didn't get squished. We played 2 games, and guess who won both? My dad! So he let me get one prize and let my friend get the other! Scrambler - 6 Don't remember much of this ride.
  14. What song(s) from a theme/amusement park are the most annoying or memorable to you? Here's a list of mine: Tiki Room Lost Continent Theme There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow it's a small world A Pirate's Life for Me
  15. When I was riding ROTM, it kept stopping and going pitch black. I don't think it was breaking down, though, because right before the "big" drop one of the ride ops was like, "Muahahahaha!". Another one wasn't very interesting, but it was ANNOYING. The Carousel of Progress's people mover broke down so we had to watch the same scene 4 times in a row. There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow was nailed into my head!
  16. My favorite is Revenge of the Mummy at USF. My favorite that is not part coaster is Spidey.
  17. There are so many I forgot. I'm not surprised that other has so many votes.
  18. I pretty much just think they're a lot of fun. I started getting into coasters in March this year.
  19. Vote for your favorite launched coaster. If you choose other, please post your favorite. Mine is ROTM at USF.
  20. Go to www.rotmhq.com and click on either one. Then, click on layout.
  21. ^That reminds me of the time my brother Mike went on that ride... He is 29(or 28, I'm not sure), and was freaking out during the launch! That was so funny! This is something like how it went: "Not even the Med-Jai can save you now"... and all that stuff Imhotep says, then we start going up the hill and "YOUR SOULS ARE MINE!" and anybody in the car could hear him yelling and screaming!
