1978 KISS meets the Phantom of the Theme Park filmed as SFMM! A classic but BAD, Bad, BAD movie! Low budget and all even after the Band grossed 10.2 million in 1977, definately could of done 100 times better and probaly would of if there was actually a script! YOu figured with one of the hottest bands, Hanna Barbera which produced could of done better, but when thy have done Cartoons all their life you would figure this same outcome! Hanna knew nothing about movies and Kiss knew nothing about acting, except on stage with instruments in their hands! Heres a link about the Film that had STUPID written all over it! Shapiro will be at the park around the 14th of this month! Some are saying earlier so he can drop in for a SURPRISE visit to the park, that way he can see what is actually going on at the park! Lawn, Landscape, Bathrooms, are his pet peaves and is known to fire on the spot if things are not the way of the new "Six Flags Family Park". I my self would love to tell him to donate half of his salary to update our park to the likeliness of SFOG and SFOT, and the Piss POOR upgrade of new family rides is a down right embaresement to call our BBNP an addition of Family Rides compared to other parks in the SF system. Of all the additions here in STL 2 of the rides included in our package can be classified as a family ride! The mini Disc-o and Martian Rocket that goes around in a circle! Family Rides should be classified as the WHOLE Family and not just Half participating in the same ride vehicle! Also--------The Sherword Forest Theatre next to Excalibur and the Caroseul, looks like they will be getting rid of this theatre in place of a new Spinning Family Coaster like SFNE Pandomoneum or a spinning Mouse! Why they cant put something in the 100 acres to the east of the park around Tidle Wave Back in the Grave Yard Area!

True. Very True. Lots of prime area for parks. Around Rolla, MO would be a great area, Lots of woods, hills (great for natural woodies) Supposedly Disney was looking at land in that area before thay chose Orlando. Lucky for Orlando! Most states now are offereing some incentives to get the land developed, as the case for the Kansas Lego land plan! Funny is how we can give incentives out like this, but cant give the american people health insurance! Funny how America operates!

Here at SFSTL, it has to be the eagle. They do it pretty quick, but the same thing they check the lap bar and seat Belt. Depending on the ride crew working the ride 2 takes a while, but when they have three and both trainsrunning they can get going pretty good! Time is waisted when the stupid riders ask stupid questions like why do I need to where Both, BECAUSE ITS THE RULES! CAN"T YOU READ! HERES YOUR SIGN!!!! Love that one! LOL We can thank the lady at Holiday World for her dangerous antics for the ride of her death for that addition.

Over the weekend (Friday to be exact) was the last day for these at our park in STL. Myself and others at another site are curious. They say it is company wide and the past weekend(Memorial)was their last as the characters at the park. Not talking about the Looney tunes or Justice league. We had a pair like the tweedle twins and 50's lady in poodle skirt, as well as some green haired guy with a hilarious colored suit on, doing pracitical fun jokes on the guests of the park. So keep an eye out and let us know, the employees here were a bit sad to see them go and no reason given, I will say this I enjoyed these better than the character's roaming the park, They actually livened up the geust and very informative (that was their job)! arrows on the tweedle twins

Well here is some of my SF St. Louis pictures. Some have been posted, so hopefully these can be of some use for you. If need a particular shot let me know, since daily operations I can now go and take a shot any time before I go to the office. I will post more as soon as I get some good shots. Steve For a quarter you can choose a random color and squirt victims on the flume. Definately needs some love! There is a lot of other horses that need some new paint and fill! Now with a new sound system LOUD as heck. Like the carnival sound at the major attraction! Bugs Bunny National Park Now what would a TPR be without a pic of me and my son James! 1/4 inch from riding the Batman and Freeze! So we take in the Classic!

Eagle below is painted half way from the beginning of the hill behind the station all the way to the break statio is un painted still. The track was reworked and include banking on the L back in to the station and the turn before the final hills before the station! This was redone this year. I dont remeber it last year. They used to be level, like the old cyclone curves, This was built before banking was thought about! This may also be a reason for waiting to paint this end, In case of problems. Seems they were haveing issues this morning! Here is the eagle as she looks on the first drop!

The opening Ceremony took place at 1030 and Tower opened to the public a little before 11am. The view is just amazing and the wait is any where from 1 - 11 seconds of drop, with various cars dropping at different times. The ride did shut down for a brief 15 minutes and loaded everyone on and 2 cars went up and shut down again, after this time an announcement was made and troubleshooting began. The cars were all sent up to the top and no problems, they came back down and did this again. No problems. They opened up again! I got my ride in before these problems occured. Yes. From the top you can see for miles, you can see the Arch Downtown! NO KIDDING! Would of loved to take pictures up there but not today! Nothing allowed on the ride. The Park as a whole was rather busy, and a few rides were not open! Mostly Kiddie stuff, and all roller coasters were operating one train! I do not get this at all, the park had plenty to keep them going, Operators were the problem, not enough to open the park, Around 2 I noticed major lines and backups for most coasters. And know on to the pictures! Here is my last pic and THE END of my first TPR Review official for the Tower! And the line down the hill to Papa John's! Aproximately an hour at this point! Hey wouldn't be an opening without thes guys, Hey its the Chicago ABC channel 20! Wonder Woman keeping everyone safe, Superman was rescuing Metropolis Junior high on the Broke Bus. Justice League! Batman already looks Hot with that costume on! Maybe a few situps needed also! Miss Metropolis! What a Smile!!! Dave-Park Manage, Miss Metropolis, and Mayor McDaniels from Metropolis, IL Metropolis High School Band, Rumor has it the Jr High band was to provide some backup to the band, and the bus broke down! The wait for the ride The sign says it all, The Man is here! Well he wasn't, but the ride was!

Uh, whats your season pass for SF look like, mine has Mr. Six, so they never really got rid of him any way. I think the fact is most patrons are asking for mr. six merchandise and selling more of it than other SF products and merchandise. It will be intersting what direction they will take, If it sells thats the name of the game! I sure am glad they brought him back, At least he was fit, and has more energy than the costumed beer bellied poor of an excuse batman that some parks have, they definately could use a body suit for the gut cover up! What image is that! At least match the costume with the right mask.

On May 19, 2006 there will be free entry to Metropolis, IL residents in to the Park for the Opening of The Tower. It is looking pretty cool! I will definately be there Friday, for the Opener!!!!! Pictures taken 05-13-06! It startehd out sunny 65, and then turned cloudy and 55 with wind blowing around 11.

When did this partnership happen???? Found this in the Window at one of the shops in Six Flags St. Louis. At the front of the park next to Photo Spys, and Entrance to The Catering Tents ! Kinda funny! What do we have here Disney Merchandise, am I, could I, hmmmmm. No Way!

Didn't this say the Actual Donkey Thread, Cause actually this is a donkey Everyone meet PEANUTS, along with Tom my oldest when he was 7. 9 years ago, in my mothers Back Yard, in the beutiful Ozark hill of Missouri. Pop Corn was Camera shy, actually people shy, and taken care of Craker Jackie her young one. She raised these for 8 years, and finally had to move them to a new home for getting out, running off. and chasing trail horses. Darn farm animials have a mind of their own sometimes. Now Thats an Actuall Donkey, a mini one at that! Does this make me a full fledged Donkey Enthusiast??? LOL Have a great day!!!!

Looks like they painted to late in the day and and on the wall! Moisture in the evening caused the paint Run. Looks like rust, but probably paint! Shoud definately not be a part of the theming. Thats why we pay more today for everything, all the years of abuse by workers not doing things right the FIRST time. Should of unbolted letters off of wall and painted either on the ground and left to fully dry for 24 hours, inside would of been the obvious to let dry.

People were very friendly, although we did not see any Justice League and only Bugs and Foghorn in Character at the beginning of the park. Park is still in some serious need of work and PAINT or buildings reroofed. For being the coaster anniversery to the park, 30 years old, they would of put a lot more enphasis on the "whole ride" they painted half of it and only the part that would be seen in photos for Tower of Power! The que building roof is like terrible, the monitor and grass up to your waist! The Ghetto Que that is for sure! Also moved the entrance through the chicago games area next to the exit! You should see it I was like give me a break!!! look at the pictures not many only there for two hours and 45 of that was waiting for pass processing! More to come as soon as time allows! Walk the new plank to the eagle! New entrance to the Screaming Eagle! Across from the exit! Its a temp door for direction of people to the Tower of Power. I belive this is the Chance Hunnington train for 77,000 and the other picture is Red Baron for 33,000. A small investma I believes these are items that are for sale and on a website somewhere. Parking lot sale!!! If not sold soon we know they will make it eventually to the graveyard! Excalibur was running stong, quite a few screams! Going Back next Saturday for better pictures of This one! They have repainted and taken off the bulky foam on the supports, looks awsome. While waiting for pass processing a fine photo moment of the freeze at the top of the spike. Operating, a load of kids just got done enjoying the new Bounce and Pounce! See the Q building in the back of the tower, this is the new roof! I am geussing when they get done that a new metal roof will be going on the Eagles old Que building. Hey Red Operating! 1pm and closed! Swing shift yet to arrive! It is May 5th and most employees are still in school! Parents beware! This is where you could lose your kids! As your kids are playing in this wonder gym of a jungle! You cannont see in to the play area very well while scoping out the verious levels where your kids can play. Various activities makes it a Taz Twister was closed but opened at 1pm. Took a ride with the boy and not much room at all in the car. 4 little kids or 1adult and 1 child. Weight height proportinante if adults do want to ride with their kids. I'm 5'10" 220, fairly fit LOL 12 ouncce Actually quite fun, one of 3 rides of possible 5 open in this par, open at 1240pm in the new area. Taz Twister closed but opened and Looney toons train had yet to open. 3 hours after the park opened. And now the new kids area, where if your not carefull, they can get away from you very fast and exit out the other side via 3 different areas! Not Child or Parent Friendly with little ones. A look at the shiny new blue block facade for the Tower. Rumor has it this will be one of the gue buildings. This used to house one of many games over the years! Still working on her! May 19 is the scheduled date for take off, I mean free fall! What the big wait is for, Superman: Tower Of Power! In reality its only a drop tower by Intanmin, nothing powered except the lift and the breaks. The original entrance, hey lets move the people to the games area by the new Power of Tower Area in Chicago Games! The que building roof! This is as far as we made it up line, they shut the eagle down either to put the other car on or a train got stuck. So I took a pic of the roof! See the roofing paper! Happy Birthday Eagle!! Your 30 and Half painted, and roof r The Video Monitor Box, even though not working or if it will, seems none were operating. Even then a Power wash is in need or just paint it black, you know! The wild flowers are overpowered by tall grass! Monitor could use some new paint or a power wash! Hey does the WEED EATER work!

We have 2 woodies Screaming Eagle and The Boss. Comparing and choosing a favoriite one of the two, You can't ! They are in two different classes all together, and as far as the Steel coasters go, Batman is my winner! SFSTL is in dire need of a major coaster, two or three, would definately be a mojor improvement. Another Woodie, A Hyper , and a Spinning Coaster! That would make this park a contender with, Holiday World and Chicago's Great America or even SDC and WOF for all that matters. Even with the addition this year of BBNP and the Tower of Power, still to be opened. May 19 is the scheduled date to open. BBNP rides are really to small for older adults even to ride with their children, I just dont't see being cramped in the seat very comfortable, they could of added the spinning ride like at Dells that Robb took a ride in, and would of been a better addition than the mini versions added to the park!

Orient Express at Worlds of Fun KC, MO or Jet Scream the first Inversion Coaster of SFSTL. Cant remember which one was first!

Not HOMOPHOBIC at all! Not that I want him to see any one kissing, that happens, a public kiss is ok. A light romantic way of saying those special words. But this went a little further than the respectible smooch, Remember the scene from Nightmare on Elmstreet, in her dream as she is on the phone and Freddies Tounge come out of the phone, That was the scene. That was down right disrespectful for my kids to have to see or anyone at the park that day! Straight or Whatever!!

Pride Day at SF St. Louis 2003! Had no clue it was Gay Pride Day, all the rainbow chains, shirts, necklaces, writing on ones shirt. socks, tennis shoes and very verbaly announcing he loves boys??????? What the heck! Not even the slightest clue triggered anything off, then standing in line and my 5 year old sees 2 guys providing air to one another via the lips, LOL, and he ask what are those 2 guys doing, as I scramble to obstruct his curious view. How do you answer that!!! NOT that I have any problems with what the lifestyle does "Behind Closed Doors" or on their property or living quarters, these guys were close to hitting a home run if they could of! That has no place in the park unless they want to privately close the park for a private outing!!! Needless to say we left after two hours of endulging our two boys through something to be private made public for all to see, we had passes so the day was not all lost, we just come back on another "normal "day! One of my worst days ever to have to explain that to a 5 year old, and why we were leaving! He was not happy, but again celebrate pride day at the local county or state park, not at a theme park where innocent young kids expect a family theme park as well as parents! And before the bashers start going, An admission was paid by all and all had a right to enter the theme park, Does not give them the right to disrespect other families from enjoying their day, and us to shelter our kids from their behavior, I have friends that are of this lifestyle and have the respect around families and go about normal lives but dont make a show out of it while waiting in line for a ride, or for a Cold Beer at the ball park!

Paint Works real well. Edit image in paint , when open click on image and select stretch skew I will usually reduce down to 50 percent and that will allow to post, change only Horizontal and verticle with the same number, then save as a different name so you wont change the original file. Check the size of the file and make sure you post with a allowable extension and you should be good to go.

Rail Blazer-Standup SF St. Louis The Mine Train-one of the original tracks was sold to Dollywood and the other track was converted to Rail Blazer then the accident which reopened as the River King Mine Train and the other track dismantled. Jet Scream SFSTL moved to Astroworld then I think finally picked up in a sale after the auction. I belive the Mindbender in SFChicago where the SUF now sits.

I road it in 2002, and I have some back and neck issues myself. I road in the second car and front and found the ride to be very smooth indeed. A lot of fun indeed. They have foam braces she can wear for support, looks funny riding, but hey when in doubt play it safe, and still have fun! She should also ask her Dr or Chiropractor, they may offer her suggestions and mine was the Foam neck support. Some Coasters are smooth and some real back Breakers, Like NY NY in Vegas, I road this with a neck brace and glad I did!!!!!!
