Well, the reason that El Toro was running one train was because one of the trains actually valied during testing, prior to opening day. -Dainan "Same with Chiller too" Rafferty

Yes I do. My brother pointed you out. But I didn't say hi, because so many people were coming to me, that my friends were feeling uncomfortable, that I wasn't going to do it either, because I didn't know if you'd freek out or not.

Coaster Queen is my mom. And Coaster Moms is my mom and my gril friends mom. It was a really cool day. And I did see some TPR hoodies and shirts.

It was a really cool day. I met a lot of cool people, and alot of people knew me that I got to meet. Wow, wow wow! What an incredible day. I didn't make it for opening but I got there at a decent hour. We walked around for a bit. Went to Johnny Rockets at 12:30, closed! Went over to Best Of The West and it was closed. Went over to La Cocina and met up with Dan, Dave, Amanda, Rei (Amanda's mom), JR, Kenny, David Jr and Stew (who followed me from the bridge, oh he will so pay for this in the video . JR, Savannah, Anthony and I went on El Toro where we met up with Sue and Brian. We sat twords the back, and I'm not going to lie. The ride just wasn't, delivering. It was running pretty slow (compared to usual), but it's the very begging of the season so this was expected. After that, JR went over to Kingda Ka, and Amanda, Savannah, Dan, Dave, and Anthony went on Rolling Thunder (left) which was running really good today! Pretty smooth. After that, Dan and Dave went to go on Medusa while the rest of us went on Tangp....nuff said. Next,w e all met at Granny's Kitchen. The food isn't that great. Anthony got a Gyro at Mama Florras. After this we went over to Houdini's Great Escape. Amanda was completely freaked out, but it was cute. It was amazing, they had every single effect working! Some I didn't even remember. Great job SFGAv! WOW! I really just said that! Walking by the fountain, before Houdini we ran into Kristin Siebeneicher. My mom and her talked for a bit (they used to e-mail each other) and Amanda met her, and almost had a heart attack. We also saw the Six Flags Crew. Afterwords, we went over to Skull Mountain. This deserves its own paragraph. Dan, Dave, Amanda, Anthony, Savannah and I ran into Skull's station and there were a few empty rows, but we decided to wait for the next train. Then I hear some one yell my name, and it was Cory and Justin. Amanda and I got the last row. Dan and Savannah sat infront of us, Dave and Anthony sat infront of them, and two rows ahead was Cory and Justin. While we were leaving the station (The front of the train was at the top of the lift) and it julted to a stop. The op then called mechanics and the lights turned on! SWEET! The train behind us was still on the break run (there's two by the way, they were on the first). After what felt like for ever, the mechanic finally came in (who happens to be a Sup) and he got it restarted. Everyone was screaming and chearing and we get into the main room, and the lights were on. About 1/3 of the way through they turned off the lights. We then got on to the 1st break run (in the middle of the room) and stopped! The lights came back on, and everyone was chearing and laughing. An attendent then came out and realesed the breaks, and got us to the next block break. Then we got off. Everyone came running out chearing, jumping, and screaming, etc. We then all headed over to Nitro where Kenny met up with us. We took up the last three rows and had an awesome ride. It was kicking real ass today!Great airtime and everything. Next we did Batman: The Ride. It ran like usual. Savannah got all coastered out, and Cory and Justin had to leave, so the only people left riding were Dave, Dan, Amanda, Anthony, and I. We then headed over to the Autobahn where we saw Ryan operating. Rei and Savannah did go on this. Then we got some ben And Jerry's and headed over to the Boardwalk. Outised GASM, we ran into SxyDan and we went on GASM. Dave hates it, so the five of us. Anthony and Dan got the 1st row, Amanda got the 2nd, and SxyDan and I got the last row. Wow, it killed us! It was incredibly bumpy, not as much bashing, but my back, chest and shoulders were killing me. SxyDan then went back to his friends. And we all went over to SUF. It was a walk on. Dan, Dave and Anthony got the last row, and Amanda and I sat infront of them. It was pretty boaring, and they moved the on-ride poto. Amanda, Dan, Dave, Anthony and I went over to Kingda Ka where we met up with JR and Kyle. Amanda and I got 2nd row, Dan and Dave got the 3rd row on the train infront of us with Anthony in the 4th. JR and Kyle sat behind us on that train. The two kids infront of us in line (Mike and Nick) were enthusiests....well Nick was GP, but they were cool to talk too! Also, Anthony was by himself and then a kid ran and sat next to him, looked at me and said, "Hey Dainan!" Oh snap, it was Dave (Beethoven). Then we got on. The launch was good. And I got really good ejector air too! Of course, at the end of the ride, the Six Flags Crew was there. After that, Dan and Dave went home, and Anthony, Amanda, JR, Kyle and I went and got an other ride on El Toro! It was running MUCH better than before. After that, Amanda, Anthony and I went over and got the last 3 rides of the night on Medusa. We ran to the front (walk on) and it was pretty rough. We then got a reride (the station was empty, so they kept the restraints locked and sent us out again). Then on the third and final ride, we got the last row. It was freezing, rough, but still fun. After that we wondered around for a bit (in the closed park) and then went home. On the way home we stopped at Wawa where I got to hang out with TJ for a little bit. New sign. Foggy morning. Well, it got smoother than last year. But it's not incredibly rough, or smooth. It's what a wooden coaster should be; fast, bumpy, full of airtime, and long -Dainan "Cyclone has always been my #1, probably because I'm from CI" Rafferty

Hey guys, so there wasn't much to see today besides Cyclone. On the way to Coney Island we passed Nellie Bly, which was currently finishing touches on it's new Wacky Worm coaster. So we arrived at the Cyclone at 11:30, and it doesn't open until 12:00. They had the Media and what not up in the station and the Enthusiests outside the enterence around the Cyclone back past the ride. I ran into a lot of ACE friends and Kenskie and a good friend of mine from school. The 1st 100 people got free tickets to ride (but it seems like they gave way more than 100). They sent out the first train and forgot to turn on the lift. So the train went around stopped. Sat there for a minute or two and then they got the lift started. A little while later they opened the line and let us all in (the queue was still over flowing). WHile waiting, one of the trains was having a little trouble on the second turn around,w hen it neerly stalled and inched down the hill. We waited 10 minutes and finally got on. Kenny got owned by a rerider while Anthony got the 2nd to last row, and Savannah and I got the last row. We were dispatched and headed up the lift. The first drop came, and to our suprise, they added on on-ride photo to the first drop (the booth was closed, they were just testing it). The ride was smoother than last year and was giving butt kicking airtime and a fun, fast ride. Afterwords I talked to a few people and realised the line was a lot shorter, so Anthony, Savannah, Kenny and I ran back in line and waited for the first two rows of the last car. of course the people in our row wanted to do a re-ride. Finally we got on and had an other good ride. We were just screaming things and yelling, and having fun. Savannah and I were screaming Charlie the Unicorn ("We're going to Candy Mountain!") and when we were on the final turn around, Savannah started yelling, "Olé!" and Kenny thought we were all crazy. Okay guys, I got a suprise call yesterday from Astroland. Apperantly, Marie Martino, the parks PR, kept bugging Mark Blumenthal to give me an interview. She kept telling them that they needed me to work there, so they gave me a call and my interview was today at 3 in the office. Last year I had an interview, that didn't go to well. It turned out, I was too young to work there. But I'm old enough now, so....we'll read the TR. I was pretty nervous on the way there (notice a car, not a subway this time) The moment of doom. Ah, this ride really gave me hope. I can't wait to ride you Sunday! The following pictures I took while waiting for Mark to come back with the papers and what not: Allright so I had my interview. We covered the basics. He was told I was in ACE so he kind of skipped over the Amusement Park reason. Well, to work in rides in NYC, you have to be over 18. So I can work in either food or games. I chose games, and I got the job ananarock: ! After the interview, I stood around talking to the GM and what not. They want me to be a part of the Coney Island Historical Project, and they said, "You know more about Coney Island than I do!" Well, I'm from there, so I should! Anyway, back to the pictures. I also think the track is as long as it is so there is room forr the bunny hil and the breaks. Also, you have to consider roll backs! -Dainan "I've witnessed 5 rollbacks" Rafferty

Alien Encounter is never coming back. It's a cult classic in every sense of the word. People miss it and hold it on a pedestal now, but when it was around no one rode it. That's why it's gone, it was unpopular. Well, I know there is no way it's coming back. Fir the obvious, one of the Aliens was destroyed for a pin, and the other one is rusting under COP. From what I've been told, it's in such bad condition, it can never be used again.

If they read them, then why is Stitch's great mistake still open ? And Disney, if you are reading this, Thanks for Skippy, but we want are Alien back...you can keep Clench! Anyway, I always knew that they read the forums, all copanies do. I'm just suprised they said it that way. Also, I hope they don't read SGT ! -Dainan " " Rafferty

Thank you guys! I will admit, I was very suprised by Thunder Dolphin. It was really amazing in my opinion. And that first drop stole the whole ride, and the little bunny hill gave alot of airtime. Thanks, I worked pretty hard on it, and it took a lot of time. It truelly was an amazing trip! I never thought in a million years we'd ever get to go to Japan (I always wanted), and we did. it was incredible. -Dainan "Would this be considered a Video TR over a Video?" Rafferty

Hey guys, I know it's been three months since I was in Japan, but it's taken me a while to make the video. But, it is finally done. Getting 8 1/2 hours of footage in to 52 minutes wasn't that easy, so I really hope that you guys watch it, and I want to know what you think! So before I get to the videos, I'll tell you what's in each part. That one looks really cool! I've been on one at LaQua. Me and my sister on it. That's me and my sister up front, and my brother behind us. He was pissed because my sister kept stopping and screaming, "E-STOP!" Hehehe, it was fun! And not that hard. The line moves, and it's more of a monorail than a coaster. Though the track could of been identical to Intamin track. But honestly, it wasn't all that special! -Dainan "I will admit, it was a little nerv racking at first" Rafferty

Freefall was down when I was at LaQUa too! Did you go in "The Mystery Behind the 13 Doors"? My brother and sister backed out, so it was only my mom and I. And I've never been on something so terrifying in my life! They give you a key, and you have to open the doors yourself, so I had to apologize when I gave back the key, because my hands were so sweaty which made the key a bit sticky! Did you have Kirin Lemon? Did you try to Melon Fanta? Did you have Squid on a stick? It's all very good. -Dainan "Was that the Ferris Wheel in Pallet Town?" Rafferty
